Litens really is like a family company. At Litens, you are employed as long as the project needs you. The product development and engineering group lacks stability and operates with less structure and security than a typical startup. As soon as the need is fulfilled, even after just a few months, or if they find out they can replace you with a staff with lower requested salary, you will be laid off. There is no job security there. If you have a job somewhere, never leave it to work at Litens in hopes of improving your salary, benefits, or getting a position you like, because job security here is zero. They even lay off employees with over six years of experience with them. They flatter you to convince you and utilize your skills to meet their needs, but as soon as their needs are fulfilled, they will lay you off without any prior notice.
The working culture at Litens is poor, and mid-level managers (called chief engineers) issue unreasonable orders to technical staffs and interfere with technical processes to prove themselves or secure or advance their own positions. However, in case of failures, they don’t take responsibility and shift the blame onto the technical staffs or lower-level employees, avoiding accountability.


Litens has long working hours. Overtime is usually not paid. There is no collaboration concept so you work on your own. People usually take breaks around noon. Young people are pleasant to work with while older generation is not too friendly.

As a tier 1 OEM in automotive the workplace can be very hectic with rapidly shifting priorities and deadlines. Upper management can be stubborn or hard to work  with, and the same can be said for coworkers, however this seems to be the status quo in automotive. 

Large company, has its own advantages and disadvantages... Dynamic work environment, good benefit package and competitive salaries. Effective managers are able to embrace innovation and change, and to manage employee problems before they become crises. Some Litens' managers have no idea how to do this and instead are constantly looking for quick fixes.

- This company likes to hire family members which gives them control as you are also responsible for your relatives job as well

- All machines in the plant have so many issues that haven't been fixed in years. It looks like nobody wants to fix them. And you wonder why Management is always complaining to the operators that production is low....

I was working as a Auto parts assembler and a QC worker at sorting stations. As an assembler, I worked with NC and CNC assembling machines as well as using handy tools for some special parts.
My duty in sorting stations as a QC staff was rewiew and sorting the bad parts in customer final packages.

It was always busy there, and you'll get to grow a bit of any skill you can think of. It's really great if you like cars or are a mechanical engineer, but don't expect much if you're looking to develop electronics

Great people to work with. Tons of bright individuals with great ideas. Lots of young engineers that are fun to have as coworkers. Direction of the company is towards electrification.

Senior management has no respect for employees. Incompetent human resources. Old school methods. Nepotism. Not a good place to work. I would not recommend anyone to work here.
