Busy season is very burdensome, and slow season you wont be able to cover the expenses for basic necessities. Management demonstrates favoritism towards friends and family who work there, additionally they also treat the staff like they're children; absolutely no accountability. There were some decent people who were employed there but they were outnumbered by the bad employees by a fair margin. Free lunch or dinner (depending what time of the day you're working) is provided for, most of the time which does lighten the hit on your wallet. During the time I was employed there the was (probably still) a issue with cockroaches and mice, which did not make for a comfortable working environment. During my time there, the expense of our uniforms came out of our own pockets and management was extremely unresponsive to the waitstaff concerns in regards to the uniforms. Overall, any job at this establishment should be taken as a last resort.

Pretty chill place to work, serving only gets intense when it’s serving time, other times it’s nice. Great coworkers as long as you’re also a fast paced worker and not slack off. We are the highest paid part time servers in Ontario with $15.52/hr. Schedule and availability is very flexible, most needed days to work are Fridays and Saturdays. You also get to eat their amazing foods for break.

The manager is great; very understanding with scheduling and if you need to book a day off or take some time off for a trip or school, and she works around your availability.

Like any job that involved customer service, it could get pretty stressful/draining to deal with guests who are being difficult or needy.

We start the day learning about what kind of event is being held, we set up completions such as bread baskets, water jug, and anything else that might be set up on the tables. We then wait for dinner service to start.

I learned a lot more about food at this job, and how to work with groups and to rely on people to help  you when you need help. 

I really enjoy the people I work with we are all close friends now and we all get along with every staff member.

The staff and very nice people and always try to help in any way. There are lots of different people you can meet. Some of the wait staff could use an attitude adjustment. They are not all team players or they think they know everything and can boss you around. 
All the supervisor are amazing and are fun to be around.
This is a great place to work.

they'll pay you on time they'll feed you good... but as far as advancing in that company that's not going to happen. you will probably get thrown out out of that they don't like you.Ultimately it's just a high and buy job I was there for 3 years and here's a small severance pay to get you out of here. the synopsis is if you want that job they'll give it to you but don't question them.

Awful company to work for. Managent is incompetent and treats staff like children. Bartenders and servers drank on the job consistently. There is also a horrible cockroach problem that has never been resolved. Most of the kitchen staff mistreats the serving staff. One the worst working experiences I'v had.  STAY CLEAR!!!

A typical day at work would start by getting changed into our uniforms. Figuring out how many party reservations you have that day and then setting up for all those people to come inside. I learn different dining experiences, instead of just learning one kind of fine dining, i know breakfast serving, 

LiUna Station, as a banquet centre is an amazing place to work if you enjoy Edwardian influences and history. The management team, staff and clients are great to work with as there's always something new to look forward to.

I am always looking forward to work. I love the environment and the people with whom it's a privilege to work with. It is a welcoming and warm place to work. I learn new things there all the time and is helping me further my culinary skills.
