•	Liaise with project managers in identifying the backup requirements

•	Suggest suitable backup approach for the project team

•	Regular meeting with the project team in roll out of backup projects

•	Monitor & Evaluate Backup Infrastructure performance

•	Participate in disaster recovery test and evaluation of data availability 
•	Suggest proactive service improvements as per Backup road map of customer

•	Work on Root Cause Analysis for Problems

•	Maintaining 23 TSM servers & libraries including DLMS (Dedicated Library Manager Servers).

•	Setup LAN Free backups.

•	Regular housekeeping activities on TSM servers.

•	Registering client nodes and administrators 

•	Estimation of Database, Recovery log and storage pool sizes

•	Work with Client nodes and DBAs for backup/restore issues.

•	System Performance monitoring and tuning.

•	Work on Incident Change management and Problem management system (Peregrine Service Center).

•	Managing and configuring TDP for ORACLE and SQL.

Working at Lloyds TSB was a great experience as they gave you a wide variety of roles in which you could make your own.

Managers and co-workers all worked alongside each other almost in a flat line structure with a great atmosphere throughout.

The hardest part of the job was learning each of the different systems they use however they always took time with each employee to make sure they are comfortable with their work before they start.

The social side of the company was always a plus, even as a new member of staff I was always made welcome to all staff events.

The communication from higher management to the cashier was vast. There was nothing a cashier did not know regarding the performance of the Branch and what could be done to improve performance, no information was hidden, unless it did not personally concern you

It is great to work for an organization that gives so much back to the community. I love seeing my regular customers and sharing the ups and downs of their favorite sports team, and I welcome the newbies and relish in their excitement of being at the 'Dome for the first time, especially the younger children at their first hockey game or concert.

Working for LloydsTSB is a good place to work, I learnt about customer service, cashiering, using the system, cash-points and dealing with customer enquirers.
