I enjoy the customer interaction the most, and love my fellow employees

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working a closing shift with all the homeless people coming in after 6:30pm

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Employees get along with each other. We are all laughing and exchanging pocket candy with each other.  Very rarely does anyone have a bad day.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I go in, find out which till I am on, set up my till to my expectations, and start my day.  I ask myself which is better: being at home or being at work.  I'd rather be at work.  I know just about everybody and have built a large customer base of those who would prefer to go through my till.  Most survey comments say I make their shopping day fun.

Co workers were awesome. Work was super easy, slightly physically demanding. Pay was great for bottom of the barrel, simplest possible task robot work. Finished early sometimes and got to eat free frozen/bakery goods with co workers. You cant possibly be under qualified for this job unless you cant stand, walk, reach over your head and bend over for whatever health reasons. Hours randomly got cut but a quick chat with my supervisor changed that for me. Overall very laid back non stressful "work at your own pace" job for pay that honestly is a good 5$ an hour over what you should really be making. Long shifts but for as casual as the job was you might as well have been being payed to pace up and down a hallway.

Working as a Courtesy Clerk at the Mission Superstore wasn’t the best experience. The job mostly involved bagging groceries, pushing carts, cleaning, and helping customers, but it felt like you were always doing the hard work nobody else wanted to do.

The pay was low for how much effort was required, and there weren’t many chances to move up in the company. The job could also be really tiring, especially having to grab carts outside in bad weather like rain or snow. It often felt like management didn’t care much about employees, and the shifts could get long and boring.

Overall, it’s not a great job unless you really need something temporary or don’t have many other options.

The best part of working here was definitely the team. My coworkers were supportive, friendly, and always willing to help out when things got busy. The environment felt collaborative rather than competitive, which made it easier to get through tough shifts. While there were some challenges with management and scheduling at times, the people I worked with made it worth it. Decent overall thanks to the staff.

The job is easy and predictable with a opportunity for improvement. Dealing withbdifferent kinds of people negative and positivev us to be expected. There will be a huge customer serviced aspect of the job that you have to be responsible for while simultaneously getting your daily checklist. 

The work itself was great and supervisors were great in terms of supporting staff when they needed to stay late on longer days by providing meals. People were also great but the work can feel a little isolating if you might be new to the city. 

Good first job wouldn’t stick around for too long but worked a year and even got to switch departments because of my hard working spirit. I liked the people. This was years ago, not sure what the work environment would be now. 

I did my job above and beyond and to their standards. My supervisor was great. I have to say more about it so I'll say the hours were terrible and limited due to a restricted schedule. If its your only job work somewhere else. 

I worked for Loblaws for 4 years and there were ups and downs. Salary was terrible, but I did learn a lot and help advance my career. Overall, It's a great starter job but don't think you will grow there.
