terrible people management, managers seem lost in the demands of the owner who is EXTERMELY centralizing.

As an employee at LOC Software, I can confidently say that it is a fantastic company to work for. The work environment is incredibly supportive and collaborative, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and personal growth. The management team truly cares about the well-being and professional development of their employees. They provide ample opportunities for learning and advancement within the company.

Your day is spent with the feeling of having management constantly watching over your shoulder and breathing down your neck. Going as far as having coworkers spying on you on behalf of management.

Their software is piece of s*** on which they keep adding even crappier code trying to build on it.

They lose big customers because it cannot handle more than a few connections at a time.

the company has about 80 employees and sells mostly point-of-sale software
Management is mostly French speaking, but most of the managers also speak English reasonably well to very well.
Their customers are mostly in the US, and therefore most employees need to have at least a minimal level of English as a second language to succeed here.
They do have a customer support group that supports resellers.

Your expected to give the owner the world. but when it comes for him to show his gratitude... Yeah, not gonna happen. He will down talk you down constantly so that you don't ask for what you deserve. He will try to destroy your integrity not to pay up and not to give promised amounts of bonuses.

it is a good place to work. Provide you with rich experience. there are a lot of things to learn and work on. people are very supportive. the president is a genius, you can learn a lot from him.

I learned a lot of lessons and the employees are very polite and helpful kind mainly supportive, I worked with a excellent team, they are always there. Flexible working hours , I miss my team

If you want to make a difference, you can be part of that change.  They listen to your ideas.  They give you the place to grow.  Co-workers are nice to work with.
