You can learn a lot in your role, and there is some lateral movement in the company but the majority of non operations roles are never advertised and you won't know they exist until its filled. Roles at Brampton head office tend to be WFH and more flexible for hours, DC jobs require you on site for specific hours, and both areas can have unpaid overtime depending on the DC/manager.

Vacation starts at 2 weeks with no sick days, goes to 3/4 weeks at 5/10 years of service.  Benefits are standard 80%, RRSP is only 1% match if you put 2%.

You can stay in your entry level role without much issue, work is pretty busy and can be stressful and pay isn't great. Most entry positions start at $17-$18 hourly, with ~5% bonus. Once you start moving up responsibility and workload far outpaces the raises you get. 

Managers at Head office are mostly pretty good and understanding, they try to do what they can but are extremely limited in what they can actually do monetary wise. You never really get to talk to the Directors or higher management unless they need help with something or you screwed up big time. 

Culture is also pretty good at the Head Office, its mostly a friendly atmosphere although some departments have employees who don't carry their weight, others go far above and beyond. They used to have a monthly lunch precovid and a small Christmas gift. 

Promotions tend to take a few years and it helps if your constantly vocal about it, and when it happens you often have to wait for the new budget to actually get the role and raise (can be several months). 

Overall a decent place to start and gain experience, sadly the majority of the good employees were burning out and starting to leave with the increased covid workload. Would not recommend staying long term unless your in a non-operations role and happy  with your compensation and work/life balance. 

Manager has no patience swears all the time even when you are on the phone talking to the Customers.They promised you at least 6 weeks of training, then after 8 days they said you are not fast enough. Very bad place to work for and you have to stay back almost everyday, without any extra pay just 30 mins lunch and no other 15 mins break. Will also report them to the Labour board. Manager thinks he knows it all not open for any new ideas.

I have never worked in a warehouse before and working here was a very good experience as I got to learn everything new which I have never done before. Everyone has been really friendly. Everyday when I come into work the first thing on my agenda would be getting the Cross Dock ready. The hardest part of the job would be when we are not able to find the products or when a mistake has been made by anyone so have to track and trace.

Time management was a large part of the work environment.
I worked the afternoon shift which was the hardest part of the job because sometimes systems failed or you were waiting for information from different companies.

Very toxic environment. 

 Processes are very dated and inefficient. HR seems okay but unaware of what is really happening.  Perhaps try management by walking around.  

Certain team leads really shouldn't have their leadership roles, they seem insecure about their own ineptitude, as a result they don't support each other and will never improve. Very sad.

Logistics Alliance is a very good company to work for from my experience, the people i had the chance to work with were great and very supportive.They went out of their way to make special occasions fun and involved the employees as well while doing it.

Working at Logistics Alliance is great - the company keeps you involved and has monthly lunches which keeps you social. The hours are also extremely flexible - depending on your position you could be eligible to work from home which is always a plus.

Very good management who appreciates hard work. We had monthly luncheons prior to covid. Good work-life balance, job security, and advancement. Great scope for  growth and learning. Definitely recommend this organization for employees who want to grow
