There's no room for advancement, the company is very poorly managed and disorganized, and you're forced to deal with horrible customers all day. On top of that, the pay is deplorable (not even enough to live on) and the so-called employee benefits package is laughable to say the least. The hardest part of the job is finding the will to want to come into work every day and most days, you question whether the meager paycheck (as in no direct deposit because this company has remained in the Stone Age) is even worth it. On top of all of that, there are some seriously shady business dealings that take place in this company, which I can't even get into due to lack of time and space.

Having a strong support team always assist in alleviating the additional stresses that managing a contact center throws at you. The front line agents work under pressure, understand the accounts and what is expected of them and allow our clients to be proud for selecting us to represent them. Outside of that there are areas where if this success is to continue changes must be made. Opportunities are provided but support with those that are given those opportunities is where work can be done. Great company with senior management who are outside the box of what you would come to consider from your senior management team. Which helped with the growth that the company has seen.

Have you ever heard the expression, "You get out of it, by how much you put into it." This is how Lombardi Publishing Corporation operates. This is a great place to work if you are willing to work hard and give it your all. Management will recognize this and almost always reward the employee. On top of that you will be treated with respect and you will be granted with more flexibility when you need it. Most employees are in their 20's and 30's, which translates into an energetic and exciting place to work. This business is unique and you will learn many things about marketing both on-line and in print.

The financial writers that work there don’t have any background in finance or investment management. These  journalist majors are forced to write about companies that are trending on google analytics. This is why they shift focus from tech stocks, crypto, and now are pumping newsletters on marijuana stocks. Their sole focus is to prey on unsophisticated investors, pitching them on pie in the sky investment schemes that never pan out. It’s about time regulators stepped in shut these guys down.

Do not work here if you have a morale conscience

As a new immigrant here in Canada, looking for a friendly and family oriented work environment is very difficult. The first thing most employer would ask during the interview, is if do you have any "canadian experience?" which is most of the new immigrants dont have. Lombardi Publishing will test your potentials, skills and talents and turn it into a greater opportunities. Here, I learned how to communicate with other people, in person or over the phone and would highly recommend others to work here.

This is a great place to utilize knowledge and also learn new things within your field.

A lot of my day is already planned because a lot of what I do is time sensitive. I take care of revenue updates, e-mail deployment as well as all social media aspects. I work closely with the CEO who is also the marketing manager but work in an open layout environment so I am not confined in my cubicle alone all day.

a typical day at work was taking a large volume of inbound calls back to back. Up selling and Cross selling and retaining on every call.

In this position I learned how to sell and retain high balance accounts based on features and benefits of the products. 

The hardest part of my job. I felt that there should have been more structure and organization and better training for the new hires. 

Most enjoyable part of my job was the bonus payout based on converted sales. 

Their products, which are so called reports, were written 20 years ago and in order to make those reports relevant again, all they do is tweak the headlines to them.  So, people who pay for these reports don't realize that they are duped into subscribing to old content.

This company is a dying breed, nothing is ever innovative and they seem to be stuck in their old ways.  When you do bring something new to the table, the CEO/owner of the company freaks out and won't adapt to the change that is suggested

Mike is one of the nicer guys in the business, very little micromanaging, as long as you get the work done, they're happy. The only downside is that there isn't a ton of growth opportunities. 

Low Call volumes. Fun environment. No room for advancement. flexible working hours. There are multiple campaigns that are assigned to each employee which is difficult for some who aren't able to multitask.
