The pay is ok but it’s an old boys club , unless your an IT person you won’t be treated fairly by management

The executive management is not fair and treats staff like second class citizens

Not very good , union and management and executives don’t get along very sneaky 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8-4 very repetive  and not variety

No hard part to this job at all. Didn't need 3 years of school for this.

London Hydro is a state-owned utility company, serving all the residents and business customers in the city of London, Ontario. It is technically advanced in applying new technologies to the traditional metering network and boost user experience by Machine Learning based customer behaviors clustering and prediction.

A pretty decent first step into the industry, learned a lot working with some fairly experienced mechanics. They were not hesitant to answer any questions I had and helped me further and solidify knowledge I had acquired in College.

This contract opportunity gave me exposure to a union setting.  I felt part of the team and very much enjoyed the HR work.  It really is a great place to work and I felt proud to be part of one of London's most empowering organizations.

Overall a good place to work - many opportunities to learn. Depending on your function you may be overloaded at times.
The company does care a lot about the customers.

I’ve worked for quite a few places and this place by far is the best I’ve ever had. Everyone is accepting, the pay is amazing and the group of people you work with are incredible. You don’t get a lot of overtime and it’s optional if you want it. Phenomenal place to work! 

London Hydro is a nice place to work with friendly team members with innovative and interesting projects. The pace of work is moderate with some typical corporate barriers.

Superb culture and personalities. I enjoyed every bit of my time with them. Calls were not too heavy. The leads are always there to support and the Supervisor is very friendly too.
