DO NOT apply for resident advisor.

Salary is poor, you are expected to be a night shift worker who cleans up garbage, mops floor, unclogs toilets, while also making sure student are not causing trouble. 4 floors to take care of, with 0 help. You are working alone. No room for morning or afternoon shift, only night time .
Nothing about position is “advisory” You are a cleaner who works at night ,

The job description is NOTHING like the actual job. No promotion and 0 benefits. Only part time work is available, pay is 16.50 hourly

Dirty and old building for student to live in. One student tried to take her life from this school, staff had to keep it secret from students…. Unprofessional behaviour from staff…. Just immature childishness 

I worked as a Residence Advisor, you are expected to do everything from cleaning to moving students in to being a security guard and a laundry attendant for 14$/hr
No overnight premium, always being blamed for not doing overload of work, the building itself where the residence is, is absolutely out of shape and falling apart, homeless and people that are under the influence are all over the Residence building specially overnights where there is no security guard.
I do not recommend this place at all! 

Oh, and the building has black mold! Its Black Mold Infected.

I studied  in London International Academy for two years and one o f my roommate, she is a teacher, she asked me to help the school staffs to welcome the new students in fall semester, that's why I had this opportunity to do the volunteer. I learnt how to communicate with many different people who I was not familiar with. How too get on well with different type of people and let them understand my information efficiency.

I love working with LIA, a truly International experience. There are many nationalities working together as a family. The students are highly disciplined and easy to work with. The Administration is just amazing. They help make accommodations for all employees.

The Job was fine. The staff were fun and laid back. The apartment where the students were housed was not safe or enjoyable. Did not feel safe there. And I don't feel like my concerns were addressed properly.  
If they ever got around that it would be an excellent place to work.
Pay was fine. 
Lunches were provided. 

I loved that they provided us with a meal daily, so I didn't have to worry about lunch. 
It is a fast-paced job. 


If you are a person who loves challenges at work then this is the place to work. The kids here are highly dedicated and academically really strong.
I loved working in this place, and definitely recommend others to apply here.

Unless you are Chinese, stay far away from this place. Unrealistic work expectations, along with catering to spoiled, entitled brats that have more money than brains.
Stay away from the place! You are better off on OW!

non-stop working condition. All you could learn nothing but how to be a liar in the office. Management is as cheap as they could offer you and unprofessional, not compliant with Canadian Labour Law standard.

The administration was great and the teachers were great to work with.
I recommend working there, it will be a good experience. The math group is excellent.
