I have been working at Longboard Architectural Products as a production worker, and I must say that I genuinely enjoy my time here. 

The company's commitment to quality is evident in every aspect of our work. The attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into our products is impressive. It's rewarding to be part of a team that takes pride in delivering top-notch architectural solutions to clients.

One of the standout features of Longboard is the collaborative atmosphere. Colleagues are supportive, and there's a strong sense of teamwork. I've found management to be approachable and open to feedback, which fosters a positive work environment.

Safety is a top priority here, which is reassuring. The company invests in proper training and equipment to ensure our well-being on the job. It's clear that Longboard values its employees and their safety.

I made a career change from medical to architectural / construction which I knew very little about.. I was welcomed, trained, and I walk into work everyday excited to do my job. Which i've never felt before working for Longboard. I have yet to wake up and say " Ugh I really don't want to work today" I get greeted every morning by EVERY staff member. The best part about management, and staff, is that they genuinely care for you and your life. People remember you, your kids names, your vacation you just went on, your grandmas birthday party.. I enjoy the feeling of family. The pay is incredible, the benefits completely take care of my family and I. We get treated to lunches, celebrations of cultures, and team bonding events which I love. I'd say the hardest part of my job is leaving everyone for the weekend. Its fast paced, friendly, and I laugh with my coworkers which is a huge plus. 

I have worked with a couple of companies and I will gladly say Mayne is the best company I have had the opportunity to work with so far. 
My role keeps me challenged, my team members are very supportive and helpful. Managers are very approachable, always looking for ways to improve efficiencies and provide employees with the tools they need to be successful in their role.
Mayne is very big on giving back, community involvement and supports various charity organizations. Employees are able to volunteer a couple of hours a day serving breakfast to kids in school, package food for the job bank etc. 
The rapid growth the company is facing makes it a very dynamic place to work and provides room for growth and advancement.
Work can get stressful sometimes, but it is a great company to work with.

Every day brings something different, which keeps the work engaging and meaningful. I’ve learned an enormous amount on the job — from technical skills to problem-solving under pressure — and the learning never really stops.
Management is supportive and approachable, which makes a real difference in day-to-day operations. The workplace culture is built on respect and collaboration, and it genuinely shows in how the team works together. Everyone pulls in the same direction.
The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the pace at times, but that’s also what pushes you to grow. The most enjoyable part, without a doubt, is the team. Coming in knowing you’re surrounded by capable, good-natured people makes even the tough days worthwhile.

Working at Longboard has been an incredible experience for me and I can honestly say that I look forward to coming into the office each and every day because of the amazing team and culture.  

The leaders and team members I work with on a day-to-day basis are all positive, collaborative, and focused on the long term. In the 18 months that I have been here, I have had the opportunity to share my ideas and be a part of meaningful work that impacts not only our team but our community as well. 

The company is growing fast and there are endless opportunities to develop and take on new responsibilities for those who are looking for a challenge.


I worked here for a few months and the amount of safety hazards I saw here was more than I had seen in 10 years of working for various industrial companies. Zero safety training, they expect you to handle hazardous and cancer causing materials without proper PPE. Building is full of smoke and no proper ventilation. I had to pump sulphuric acid out of a barrel with zero safety PPE. WHAT?? The manager of the floor team got me to sign that I was trained on various heavy machinery even though I hadn’t even seen the machines I was signing off on and never learned a thing. If you don’t care about your health or well being and need a job this place is an easy spot to get hired. If you have any self respect look somewhere else. Company treats it’s floor workers worse than any I have seen.

Mayne Inc. is a company experiencing success at a rapidly growing pace which allows for tons of growth and development within your own role. If you are willing to be independent, seek out opportunities for the company and work hard you will be greatly rewarded. The management team is very personable and approachable and instills positive core values within the company. The company also cares a lot about giving back which allows for volunteer hours during work time and being open to new opportunities for charity involvement. Due to the rapid growth there are little bumps along the way but overall the work culture is very positive and I feel incredibly supported in my role.

Great coworkers, very poor management. Very stress inducing culture.  This is a good place to get a job and get experience, but not a place you would ever want to work for a long time, or even as a career unless you are in their office line of jobs, or are in management/HR.  Safety standards are not present.  If you are a floor worker you are often breathing in cancerous chemicals.  There will be a hazardous spill, and they will ask someone who tapes or wraps or unloads and doesn't work with any of the chemicals to be the ones to clean it up without telling them how.  There is no teaching, it is all learn on your own as you go, especially in regards to safety rules and regulations involving PPE.

Typical day at LB is filled with laughs, catching up with the execs, and helping provide radical client care to North America. Not only career wise have I grown, but personally I have as well. The people I am surrounded with everyday have shaped me into a much stronger, confident, kinder person, and I am so grateful for it. I love how everyone has the same beliefs, and outlooks, with different life experience to show perspective. The hardest part of my job is when I have to leave for the weekend! I love that the CEO and all other VPS/Execs treat everyone equally, and come and remember things about you/your holidays/your family.. it's really refreshing to have constant support inside and outside of work. 

Leadership at Longboard is second to none; it's clear how important the team is to them. Every opinion is heard, suggestions are valued, and each contributor is recognized. Weekly recognition for outstanding work with a monthly prize. There is a strong effort in learning & training from leadership and throughout. A big focus is on full understanding of our products and contributions to our products. 
The culture is incredible, highly social and collaborative. Plenty social events and team building. Deskside learning sessions are common place, and everyone is open to sharing their knowledge, experience, and expertise.
