Loose Moose

Many employees had been working there for years so it was hard for them to let a new Bartender in. However, I was able to make friends in the workplace and did my job well. Management was awesome (This includes General Manager at the Restaurant as well as the Bar Managers,) Not sure if they are there anymore but they were exceptional managers.

Hardest part of the job was starting; the older bartenders did not take to welcoming new bartenders. Very hostile workplace at first but once you get the hang of things and build some friendships, it is a great company to work for. 

Most enjoyable part of the job was the energy on game nights (particular playoff game nights). The energy and vibe in the City of Toronto is amazing and working in that environment is something I will always remember, in a good way.

I have learned more about the customer service industry and have been experienced with difficult customers and high demands all while still maintaining a positive attitude and completing the job. I have spent several years in school as well, focusing more on the actual fundamentals of Fashion Merchandising and have had several projects in regards to store layouts, advertising and the actual production of brands. I have also been taught the basics in accounting and e-commerce, therefore giving me a great idea of how each part of a business is ran.

All the team members and seniors over there push you to work hard and push you to do your best and utilize your talent and show what your true potential is and always love working there because they treat you like a family which makes me a proud member of the loose moose team.

It is a fun place to work and well structured in the trading process as they take their time with you and making sure u are comfortable with yourself in doing so.
It can also be very fast pace at times but their is always from the managment and  staff.

I worked here as a hostess. It was an extremely fun job to work. Hours were kind of late but to be expected in a restaurant. Game days were stressful but easy to maneuver. 

In the beginning it was a great place to work, however management shifts so often that there was a lack of consistency in the focus for the bar team. Preference given to seniority over ability.

The Moose is a very faced paced work environment. Because it is part of a corporation, there is plenty of opportunity for growth. The staff and management are generally happy to help and see you grow.

Working here is great for people who want to put their heads down and just grind and make some cash. They sell tons of craft beer and the food is fast and easy to sell.

Not a bad place to work for a young person, but the revolving door of managers can make for a pretty inconsistent work environment.

Tips are pretty good.

Lots and lots and lots and lots of sports fans, as well as metro convention...go-ers?.. as well as people attending concerts nearby make up the crowd. 70-80 beers on tap, and a pretty big menu!
