Worked there for roughly 2 years and was let go unexpectedly of no fault of my own. There wasn’t room to grow, training was slim to none and it didn’t seem like management had any idea what they expected from the role I was hired for. I agree with previous reviews; minimal benefits, lack of career growth opportunities, weak management and a cult-like culture. I saw them lay people off continuously only to bring them back weeks or months later, only to be laid off again later. I could care less about the fact they’ve been in New Brunswick for over 100 years, there are much better local companies to work for.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Helping customers find their dream ride was always exciting. Working with the employees was always helpful. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being a commission based job. The stress and anxiety of meeting quotas always was stressful. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very welcoming and family feeling. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Phone calls, emails, walk ins and test drives. All fun!

The management is very poor and when there is an issue they don't get resolved. The group of people that I work with is depressing due to the manager, it is a hard place to work when everyone is feeling the same way and issues don't get resolved and there is no communication. Manager takes off for a few days or leaves for a week and no one knows until he goes. I always go into work in a great mood and like to laugh and have fun with my co-workers but it puts a person down when things get tough to deal with.

This is not the place for a good paying job. There is no advancement here. Plus the service manager is a idiot. The only way this place will get better is when the service manager is gone. Stat away from this place if you want a future.

Lounsbury's is a great place to work. You know what to do and you aren't micro-managed. They let their employees and they let their managers, manage. I've been given opportunities when I ask to do different things. The people are really nice and really helpful!

If your not in with the right crowd your not in. I was over qualified for the position, was accepted for the position then was harassed for doing my job the way I was trained and know how to do it. You will need to walk on egg shells every day as they like to fire people for no reason it gives the service manager a buzz.

My experience working there was sometimes okay but most times really stressful. Was not trained properly and felt bullied a lot by co-worker and nothing was ever done about it , manager always turned a blind eye to it. I would not recommend this company .

It's a great trade I love this job . Lately there is no more advancement
I have hard time with the advisors to sell the required repair work needed on most vehicle

Worked with a lot of amazing people. Sad to not be working with them, but management in Service needs to be changed. Staff turn over is high and moral is low, manager won't listen to ideas or make necessary changes. 

Lounsburys is an amazing company to work for. The environment is great and everyone is beyond friendly. I would recommend working here. I really enjoyed my experience.
