If you thought you wanted to work here because of what you saw on social media you are in for a rude awakening. All the bad rumours or things down the grapevine you have heard of this place are unfortunately all true. Most reviews on Google are fake, requested from friends and family who work there. Pay is on the lower side considering how hard they work you with no overtime pay. The interview process was chaotic and strange, with an unorganized group interview. They pump out treatments and sell clients whatever they can because bringing in the most $ is what is most important. You dont really get treatment perks for working here either other than general insurance benefits. When I was there the turnover is pretty high in all departments which says a lot. Overall the workplace is chaotic with most employees having no direction. Getting approval for anything is nonexistent because theres no organization. My experience with management was negative from false promises to dishonest negotiation tactics.

Working here was by far the worst job experience I’ve ever had. There is absolutely no room for growth no matter how hard you work or how much you contribute, management and ownership make it very clear that you are nothing more than disposable. You’re treated like an animal, constantly pawned off with a never-ending list of tasks without any recognition or fair pay for it. They’ll squeeze everything they can out of you while giving nothing back in return. The leadership is hands down the worst part. The owners and managers are belittling, disrespectful, and completely out of touch. They don’t care about their staff’s wellbeing or the toxic environment they create. Working under them took a massive toll on my mental health being constantly put down, talked over, and micromanaged is exhausting and degrading.

Turnover is extremely high here, and it’s easy to see why. If you value your time, your self-respect, or your mental health, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The only benefit to working there is the Friendships you make with the staff who are also being treated horribly. 

Management is AWFUL. Like, really really awful. Owners are self centred, self absorbed, out of touch with reality X1000000. 
Disorganized, chaotic, stressful, mentally abusive mind-game “leaders” running the place. 
They don’t care if you live or die…. you’re just a number that makes them money. 
They ask your opinion on something, they’ll do the opposite. You tell them one thing, they’ll do the other. Feels like you’re talking with concrete walls. 
Making you feel stupid is their #1 priority I think, besides ordering staff around like they are assistants/maids…… 
I have never felt more under appreciated or under valued at a workplace. 

Looking for a raise? Don’t bother because it’s never “in the budget”.  The pay was brutal and we barely got anything in lieu of to make up for it…… and if we did, it would be dangled over our heads. 

Anyway…… I learned a lot about the industry and the coworkers were amazing. Loved working with them. Mainly because we all trauma bonded over everything that occurred there. 

When I got hired at this job I was so excited because I thought I was finally getting a job in the field I had been interested in. But I was so incredibly disappointed in the management and hiring process. First of all, they waste your time with an group interview that was an hour long with useless activities and then talk to you for a few minutes afterwards regarding the position. Then when I got hired I came in on my first day of training and waiting there for an hour and was told to go back home and come back the next day even though they told me to come on that day snd  I was already there and ready to go. I came back the next day and started training but I noticed I wasn’t even getting trained properly at all! I left the job so fast because I already knew it was a toxic place to work and that management doesn’t care about you at all especially when you’re new. I’m glad I made the right choice for me and left ASAP. 

typical day of work was decent, it is a very busy clinic, daily tasks seem appropriate for such a busy place. there always seems to be drama in this clinic. management is very focused on surface level "wellbeing" and appreciation of their staff but really do not care at all. their social media presents the vibe of this clinic in a completely different way than what it really is... depressing, and grumpy. I will say, most of the time, client experience is great so it no doubt is a great clinic for clients, employees are not treated well. you are also expected to spend hundreds of dollars for work event outfits... gowns for their "Gala", and coordinating outfits for each and every event. at next to nothing pay, it seems very unreasonable to ask employees for a new outfit every-time there is an event. VERY quick turnover of staff

The job is fun lots of team building and perks like dinners, gifts, free product, free treatments. The pay is low for the amount and type of work. I feel like they pay low in order to compensate all the other things they get the employees like flowers on Mother’s Day, gift cards for holidays etc. You do make commission on products. Some girls there may steal the client you showed the product to and bring them to the front and check them out there and you don’t get your deserved commission. They seem to treat VIP better and people that are spending money or known to “have money” a lot better than regular clients in for dermatology concerns. Overall good place the atmosphere is beautiful, organized and structured. Owners & Management aren’t anything like how they are on social media. They seem stressed and grumpy. 

I would never suggest this clinic to anyone for a job opportunity. A typical day starting at this company for work means: stressing about the constant phone ringing and the overlapping bookings, and making sure the company makes enough money. When you have concerns or ideas you are either avoided by management, or you're made to believe they will implement a solution...but they never do. This company also exploits pictures of you constantly to try to salvage their social media image. Also, if you're not made out to be beautiful in the owner and managers eyes, they will call you out for it and make you feel awful about yourself. Overall, one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. Not worth the mental strain they carelessly and willingly put on you. 

Extremely toxic work environment. High expectations with low payout. Not adequately paid for the work that is expected and very negative in general. Management is very negative towards finding solutions to ongoing problems and when they do find a solution they don’t enforce it.  Treat admin badly and don’t respect the huge role they play. Poor communication between all the groups (products, promotions, scheduling etc). Very difficult to speak to management about anything (ignore you, rush the conversation, belittle your concerns or ideas). My suggest is stead clear. 

I was so excited to work here and now that I do, I’m happy going to work everyday. I really enjoy working at Lucere, they have great management and a wonderful team. 
I love the clients and I love that I can make good money working on doing something I love. 
I’m so thankful I got this job. There’s a sense of a real work family. 


Lucere Dermatology is a great place to work in order to advance your career. The management team is supportive and encouraging, helping me thrive in my job.  They have been there for me so many times. I’m so appreciative of all my experiences there. The whole team is helpful and kind.
