Depending on the season I would do what was asked of me, during harvest season it was long hours on shiftwork sorting and dumping the fresh vegetables as they came in, prepping for frozen vegetables. Other times I would work sanitizing or they used me a lot for painting and general maintaince as well as working with fresh product on the forklift.
My co workers were great to work with, very positive to be around. The management were nice enough however there seemed to be confusion as they would tell me to do something and then another manager would come and tell me to drop it and do something else.
As I am a family man, the shiftwork and night shifts were my least favorite part but I enjoyed overall working there.

At Lucerne I learned to work as a team player with my hard working group of co workers who were welcoming and fun to be around. The hardest part of this job is that it was physically hard on my body, the most enjoyable part of this job was the hours, lots of overtime. Management was very reliable.

I didn't mind this job, it was my first job as a power engineer and gave me a taste of what was to come.  The pay was bad and the employees had pretty poor morale.  I worked at the juice plant in Taber which has since closed down.  Manufacturing just doesnt pay as well as utilities and oil and gas.

This is a good place to work with lots of interesting people where I can learn how to work in groups, how to manage people. Management people are friendly and open minded. Dealing with many kinds of people everyday is the most challenge, but seeing everything going in the right track will satisfy me.

It was hard to work during harvest season as it was 7 days per week, 12 hours per day.  At the time I worked there, I had 3 small children.  I would have continued working there but I wanted to spend time with my children before they grew up.

Worked 8 hr shifts and got paid above minimum wage. I enjoyed driving the forklift since it was an easier job. My co-workers all knew my dad since he has been working there for 25 years so it was a good environment to work in.

employees and management didn't get along, most of the time people were referred to has their employee number and not their name. the culture was us vs them. The hardest part was dealing with management.

Great place to work. The facility ran a four day work week. The crew and management were willing to help train and assist in any area of the work place. They were very knowledgeable of their procedures.
