Coworkers are very nice but the management is terrible. You get removed from the schedule without warning first then that’s when they’ll tell you that you’re fired, i’ve also seen people get fired for no reason and the discrimination from the higher ups are apparent. They’ll make you do tasks that aren’t even in your job description and they ask you for a lot but pay you little. You can work here for years and it’ll still be hard to get a raise. Customers can also be very rude and verbally abusive but you can’t say anything or talk back because “costumers are always right”. You can’t call in without a doctor’s note even if it’s just for one day otherwise they’re going to lower your hours and schedule you less (you also have to pay for the doctor’s note out of your own pocket).

However, the people you work with are amazing even the supervisors are friendly and nice. Flexible hours:) Great place to work at if you’re a student or want a second job. Can be stressful when it’s busy but time goes by fast.

I always issue money, credits, vouchers.
I reconcile records of sales or other financial transactions.
I establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and arrange bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
As a Grocery clerk: I help customers with any difficulties that they may experience, as well as answer any questions that are raised. For instance, if the customer cannot locate a certain product, I take him/her to the product’s location. In addition, when a customer inquires about the pricing of a product that is not labelled, I also find out the price of the product.
As a Courtesy clerk: Helping customers to carry-out their items. routinely sweeping and cleaning spills. I prompt customer services and assistance throughout the entire store.

Answered customer questions regarding store merchandise, department information and 
l   Assembled promotional displays, including quarter and full-size point of purchase displays.
l   Supplied daily support to the buyer and assistant buyer.
l   Completed stock orders and managed inventory levels.
l   Removed damaged, out-of-code, not-in-set and discontinued items from displays.
l   Loaded and unloaded merchandise using a ladder and pallet jack, hand jack and forklift.
l   Ran to truck back and fort store to warehouse to bring stuffs in.
l   Organized and cleaned the warehouse.
l   Collected all the garbage and sole all the empty pallets when needed.
l   Unloaded full 24FT container and organized in 5 hours.
l   Kept the work station clean all the time

Most staff is wonderful, at least the ones who aren't higher ups. Some supervisors or management don't care about their employees. They only care about making money. 

The store is super disorganized. Staff doesn't pay attention to what is stocked on the shelves (what is expired, which items are currently on sale). It raises many complaints from customers and makes it more difficult for cashiers to ring out people.

Management doesn't update systems all the time and so many items on the shelves can't even be scanned.

There is a lack of respect for employees. There is a lack of organization.

Working here is pretty bad, you don't get to have a 2 week set schedule and only a week by week basis at the end of the week. Although you can "request" a day off/holiday it's not guaranteed, so you'll need to do it either weeks ahead or months.  Management barely cares about you and no way to work up in a sense. Some area's of the work place don't really train you to do things properly as they either left or went to another job site and your left to learn majority alone by second guessing everything. This is only scratching the surface as to what goes on.

Not a good place to work at. You’re overworked with underwhelming pay,  don’t get trained properly, and there’s rampant favouritism in management. The owner himself comes to the stores 1-3 times every week to inspect everybody working and it makes you feel like you’re under surveillance which is not a good feeling. He’s also not nice either and talks down to the staff. Would not recommend this job to anybody. Some coworkers aren’t bad, but a lot of them tend to gossip as well. 
Also 10% discount for only specific store items is beyond cheap of the company. 
Terrible job.

Some employees think that they are your boss. They always  interfere in everything without any knowledge. They can use phones, they can sit for hours, they can take 2 hours break and no one say nothing because they are “Friends” with Manager/owner.
Salary increase is also based on favouritism not on your performance . If you are in the favourites list you can make more than 20$ as a cashier but if you are not in the list you are going to work on minimum wage forever doesn’t matter if you are senior employee or your performance is good. 

the managers are nice, but merely nice. they listen to you when you tell them about problems at work but seldom do anything about it.
if you have any reason that prevents you from fulfilling a shift, give them a call and you won't get any problem. 
but if you are the person who have a co-worker absents for shift, you suffer, because they are likely unable to find someone to cover that shift and they won't cut any service just because of that, so their only solution is to let you do all the extra works with the same pay.

Was a closing supervisor under a grocery wage. Working 10 hr a day, doing ordering inventory deli kitchen closing store. Had to leave for medical reason but offered to go back numerous times but management said take another week and another week off. Just recently was told to come back part time closing supervisor then waited and waited  for her to say no where to put you.

Short cut training and no training guideline. People do not know what to do. No team work no communication; very disorganized. Wage is low and will not be reviewed and raised. Wage is depending on manager's personal preference not employees' performance. Over workload. Bad location as many shoplifters around the area. Most employees have negative attitude when working that will depress you too. I will not recommend this company.
