Friendly work environment but can be long days when not busy

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
9 hour shifts with Monday and Tuesday very busy and slower as the week goes on

It's a very good workplace atmosphere & culture, very nice & knowledgeable management willing to help & teach, proper workplace to learn new software and new rules, good benefits eye & dental.

Supervisors were really good to work with, the staff was so very friendly but the management went from really good at the beginning of my tenure to super shady and would stab you in the back no matter what good you did for them or the company.

I worked here for 6 years as a machinist and left on my own accord. The management is waayyy better than previous. The machines are older but well maintained. Wages were more than fair. Negative reviews come from people who didn't have the skills to pay the bills. Overall, not that bad of a place to work.

I enjoyed working for Luff, and was very proud of the work I did there.
I was taught how to run many different machines, and how to work with different tools. Everyday brought new challenges, and enjoyed conquering them. I will miss working for that company.

I enjoyed my time there could have been better compensated for the type of work but all in all safe steady work. I found it difficult to advance based on work merits. Very friend group based environment

Family run and friendly. Unfortunately there was not much room for safety improvements and several times I was injured while doing my job. 
Good culture.

Poor management  safety almost non existence supervisors have little respect for employees
Lack of supervisory skills  no chance of advancement
Safety officer is a joke

Ear plugs are definitely required there. The noise level is pretty extreme to put up with 10 hrs a day.  10 hr shifts with 8 hrs on Friday.  all straight time

Working here was alright. I felt as though I would never move forward with the company. Not as many people were willing to help as I needed, therefore I never progressed forward much.
