As an early childhood educator with a passion for nurturing young minds since 2022, I can confidently say that my experience at  Lullaboo has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I joined, I've been greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the management team, who truly value and support their educators.

I can not speak for other locations at Lullaboo Nursery and Child care Centre but my experience at the Toronto to Beach's Child Centre Location was quite negative. When I first started working there everything went very well, they trained me and were very helpful I was learning quite a bit. It was like most Centers loud , fast paced with long hours but my colleagues were friendly and very professional. However there were some red flags that I over looked such as the janitor quitting without any notice. Management didn't seem to rush to hire someone as a month passed and they still expected the Educators who were working 40-45 hours a week to rush and clean there large classroom's each day. Furthermore they had inconsistent staff which didn't sit right with me as one the Educators that helped train me had only been there for three months. Another Educator left to return to her pervious job... a huge red flag. During that time all though I was exhausted and very underpaid I was okay in the classroom and with the people I was working with. I was then asked if I would be okay with moving to another classroom, I was new so I didn't want to say no (A big mistake on my part) After that everything became worse. As my colleague's were sometimes nice sometimes rude not easy people to work/communicate with and one of them would try and put most of daily workload on me and the other Educator while they just sat there. As Lullaboo has work tasks for the Educators to complete each day before a certain time. Which is not safe as at least one of the Educators has to have their eyes off of the children. That is NOT OKAY if they want them to complete this work they should have an extra Educator in the room at all times or at least for a few hours each day. With that being said I wouldn't recommend working here.

Lullaboo is not only a safe environment for the children but also for the educators and janitorial and kitchen staff. We all feel like a big family and that’s because this is the message that we always see from the directors and managers. Lullaboo has played a great role in my life. I have been working with Lullaboo for eight years. Lullaboo has helped me to grow and learn; I started as a French teacher and my manager proposed I complete the apprenticeship program. I did my ECE through Lullaboo as they offer $1000 towards tuition every year, no matter what you want to study to pursue your career. Employees also get other great benefits and perks. Lullaboo always offers employees the opportunity to grow, they hire supervisors internally and work hard to support classroom educators to grow within the company.

Lullaboo has a Mentor program that helps any new educator to integrate into the classroom and the company. The Mentor spends two consecutive days with the new hire to explain to them everything we do on daily basis. It is great hands-on program that helps all new employees to feel more comfortable as they settle in. Lullaboo also has a Quality Team and their responsibilities are to ensure that educational programming meets Lullaboo standards and support each classroom team to always keep improving. They also ensure that the classrooms are filled with a variety of materials and an abundance of age appropriate toys, loose parts, art supplies, etc. 

I love coming to work every day. I highly recommend Lullaboo if you wish to have a great and stable career. It’s more than just a job, it’s a family!

    I worked for this company for 89 days. I was surprised to find out I was hired on the day of the interview. With great pride in my career as an early childhood educator I took initiative in my role and began to add positive changes to the ways the children learned. I worked many long nights as the institution would run from 7am-630. As many Canadians in Ontario, fighting inflation many were stuck late at their jobs in turn extending my days longer. I grew very fond of my colleagues as we worked alongside eachother for the in betterment of the children, the company seemed very promising as they held many out of work functions such as yoga and work parties (there were no staff meetings held for the 3 months that I was there, which was very much needed). Every 30 days I recieved stellar reviews about my outstanding performance in the classroom and my endearment with the children. I looked forward to the future I would come to share with this organization, after an almost life changing injury on my shift, I looked to my superiors for guidance regarding next steps to recovery. I was met with grievance and shame for speaking up for my rights as an employee. 2 days after the incident I was let go from this position. Although their reasoning for release was contradictory to the past 3 reviews I had recieved from colleagues and management I look forward to my future endeavors in my journey to positively influence children in their early education.


Lullaboo has been one of the best choices for families and employees to work with. For the families lullaboo has always been a great choice for their young ones to support them through their journey of learning and getting ready for their school years filled with care, affection, hands on learning in a healthy, exciting and fun manner. As a Lullabooian, I have gained even more confidence within myself. The management is so kind and supportive that working with the lullaboo family feels like home because of the support and encouragement we the Lullabooian’s receive on daily basis. The management also appreciate the lullabooian’s hard work every month by hosting staff appreciation days, surprises and much more. Lullaboo not solely gives the best opportunities to the families but also to their employees to grow in their walk of lives by helping them in different ways such as promoting in the field, helping young individuals to come up, show their skills and achieve success. The directors Ms. Irini Mikhael and Mr. Halim Mikhael are also very supportive. They are always there to help you whether you need support in the immigration process or anything else. Highly recommended to all the families, RECE’s, ECE’s, ECA’s, students and the community. 

As an educator working full-time at Lullaboo Nursery & Child Care Center in Ontario and a student pursuing Early Childhood Education (ECE) online at Loyalist College, I have found an incredible synergy between my work and studies that has greatly enriched my professional journey.
Lullaboo Nursery & Child Care Center has been instrumental in supporting my education. The hands-on experience I gain daily complements my academic learning, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. This practical approach not only enhances my understanding of ECE concepts but also hones my skills, making me a more effective educator. I couldn't have made it this far without the unwavering support from Lullaboo.

When I first started at Lullaboo back in March 2020, I was still completing the Early Childhood Education program. I was very nervous at first as this would be my first initial job within my field of study. But, from my first day all of the staff and the management team made the transition into a new work environment so smooth and made it a comfortable learning experience. 

There is always lots of room for growth within the company- I started out in the classroom as a Early Childhood Educator and shortly took on the role of the Early Childhood Specialist which involved supporting children with exceptionalities and providing them with the more one-on-one that they needed. Shortly after, my end goal position became available and I have since been a supervisor at the Cambridge Lullaboo location since June 2021. 
The management team is always so welcoming and always supportive. 
The work environment itself is so welcoming and calm. I believe that the most enjoyable part of the job is always hearing the positive feedback that the upper management team provides. The directors are really involved with all of their centres and know each staff by their name, conversations with each staff is always individualized and not just your basic common courtesy conversation!

• Hiring process was very effective based on the follow-ups from the HR department including the introduction of the Company, policies of classrooms, age groups, specifically the room that you will be assigned to, as well as the benefits once you are a permanent staff at Lullaboo. I had gained support from the Company as I was trying to complete my Immunization records, I was given an adequate amount of time to retake one of the doses before I could officially start to work. I was interviewed by my current supervisor who was very supportive and communicative and all the information including my inquiries and requests was responded clearly and transparently during my interview. Other than that, I was allowed to step into the preschool room just to get to know the children and experience flows as how the educators were interacting with the children and operating the room professionally.   

• Training process was up-to-date with helpful information regarding implementations in the classroom, displays, and programming from my program coordinator. 

• Environment and work culture were friendly and diverse. The room that I am working in is very open to the different ideas and opinions of every staff. At Lullaboo, every work is shared appropriately and shifts are rotated every other week. 

I have worked for Lullaboo for about two years. I started in a different location than the one I am at now, and when I asked to switch to a location closer to home, the management was very accommodating. 
Working for the largest daycare in all of Ontario, I am lucky to work with a great team of staff and management that all work together to make sure all of the jobs get done. We have a team that are dedicated to Quality Assurance, working with staff to ensure that programming is of the highest quality and that the kitchen exceeds safety expectations. 

We have quality, organic food that is prepared on-site daily, available to staff and children. We strive to ensure that the children only receive the highest quality of food and care.

At the same time, I myself am a parent at the center. My son is part of the preschool program, and during his time here, I have seen numerous improvements in his cognitive and interpersonal skills. Through the center's programming, as well as extracurricular activities that we have, I have seen incredible growth in him, and I am thankful to the tremendous support that I have received both as an employee and as a parent.

I am thankful to every level of management that come together to ensure that the children's safety always comes first.

At Lullaboo, I have learned so many new things about kids that I didn't learned before.  During my hiring process, I was bit nervous about my interview, but when I came in, the supervisor was very friendly and supportive. When I went into the classroom, I thought the Kids might not like me or maybe they will be shy. But, I was surprised to see their  reaction. Everybody was coming to me and telling me their names, giving me hi-fives. I was so happy at that time and I did some activities with them . When I get hired, I did my training and my mentor was very nice. She trained me very well in two days. She gave me the whole tour of the building, explained me about  every equipment and showed me how to do diapers. She also explained me about he icare app by giving live examples at the moment. The enjoyable part of this job is circle time. I love how kids came and sit down very nicely ad shows their interest . They always suggest the songs and participate in it too. All of my kids are so gentle. I didn't feel any hard time during my job and I hope it will go smoothly. Overall, the management is so good and the environment is nice and clean. Every staff is very educated and helpful. I am very happy to be the part of Lullaboo and hope to stay longer with them.
