My experience since joining Luminor several months ago has been a positive one. I knew that leaving my previous employer after being there over a decade may present some challenges, but I feel that I have settled in well. The premises, both the office and productions areas, are newer, clean and equipped with modern facilities. 
The interview process was pleasant, professional and efficient. I was contacted shortly after my interview so I wasn’t left wondering too long how it went. 
My needs have been well met in regards to the tools required to do my job, and anything extra that I needed was quickly supplied.
An area of possible improvement could be a dedicated training program that encompasses more than role the I am in, such as hands-on experience in the production areas to gain more knowledge of Luminor’s products, business practices and work flows.
Overall I’d say Luminor cares for their employee’s wellbeing, there’s a good comradery and positive atmosphere, even during the more stressful times, and people are encouraged to get in involved in their social activities. I would recommend working at Luminor if asked.

I worked in production. The team is great. Friendly, helpful, great energy. The company is growing fast, so the pace is pretty intense and some days are much busier than others, which can feel stressful, but everybody knows how to work together to get things done. Benefits are good, pay is above average but they could stand to pay more. Boss and Lead Hand are both great: smart and thorough and good sense of humour. 

My advice is pretty simple: If you have a good attitude, work hard and show everybody the same respect you expect? You'll have an easy time at this job.

Overall:
I started as a Production Assembly Associate while completing my studies and, after graduating, was promoted to Quality Control Technician. This shows the company values growth and provides opportunities for employees to advance.

A typical day at work starts with everyone bumbling about looking for something to do.  Management are very disorganized, uncommunicative and stand offish at their best moments.  Every one working there thinks they are a boss, which leads to untold amounts of frustration and drama.  No one is willing to train any new hires for fear of their own job security.  Backstabbing, sabotage, lying, and rumour spreading are the name of the game here.  No health and safety department/officer= unsafe work practices across the board.  Steer clear of this employer if you value your safety and sanity.

The work at luminor can often be fast paced and sometimes overwhelming but in my experience there, I found that being a team player is critical to successfully complete the day’s tasks. The staff are really friendly so it’s easy to get along with others and a good place to apply and develop your interpersonal skills. This job will also favor individuals who are very productive, have good time management skills and are able to multi-task. Overall, I enjoyed my time at luminor and met a lot of great people.

As a long standing employee (almost 8 years in a couple of weeks) I am proud to be part of this family owned company.   I have seen us grow rapidly and bring in new talent. We are a detailed oriented group that provides the best quality product and customer service to our customers. Each day is different so there is never an opportunity to be bored and always offer the opportunity to learn. Although we work hard, our employer provides us with fun events such as our company golf tournament, year end festivities, appreciation lunches and community support drives. 

LUMINOR is a great company to join if you are looking to grow professionally. The office team is a tight group and the work requires you to wear many hats, each day. No day is the same which I really like. Working at LUMINOR has challenged me professionally but I've never learned more in such a short period of time. They often do nice things like paid birthdays off, company parties, and lunches.

Overall I've enjoyed my time at LUMINOR so far and would recommend it.

After working for LUMINOR for many years, I can confidently say that it has been and continues to be a very positive place to work. Hard work is not overlooked and there are opportunities for professional development and growth within the company. There are opportunities to get to know your coworkers at company events and fun incentives including fitness challenges. Overall, LUMINOR is a great place to work and anyone would be lucky to join the team.

Overall, this is a good place to work. It is very cliquey and drama does happen but that happens everywhere. The production manager is amazing and is extremely helpful and pushes you to be the best that you can be. However, things do get pretty stressful with unrealistic demands but everyone powers through and does the best we can. The hours are great, and the pay is fine. Raises are very scarce regardless of how hard you work or the things you learn.
