I had worked at lXT over 6 months. there is a lot going on in this campaign that is not true from what they had told us in the first day.  Now I will list points: 

- The management of the job is not professional because they are having high expectations from their employees without giving a professional training or informations. They gave the laptop to us and said work the way you think is correct and feel free to take breaks and chill. We want our employees feel satisfied about their job at lXT, later on we experienced a lot of stress cause we did not have even chance to use the washroom either. 

- work hours changes every few months! In the beginning of the job we been told to come to work as soon as we can make it around 8:00 am but over time they switched it to 7:15 later to 7:30. Every time they given different reason.

- the accounting of the company did not dedicated our taxes on time. Make sure to save money to pay it back later cause they always found excuses to not dedicate the tax on time.

- The salary is not flexible. It changes every time. They finding excuses again to give the bonuses later or up and down. Not easy to understand how our salaries been calculated.

- they changed the rules of the job every time. They send people home with a reason of not having project (pool) to work on but later all them getting terminated for reason of not spending enough time on the system (low utilization). But during 2022 we all been informed to close all the windows when ever even we talk with someone which decreased our utilization. 

- we been told to take break when we feel needed because we all spend our time on stop infront of laptops with a headset but without we been informed correctly, we got warning of taking a lot of breaks.

- the words you hear from the manager and team leader is fake. What ever you hear is different from what is real. Literally, they are playing fake.

- during the time I been working there I with many others did not get any benefits until a month before we all got terminated.

- this job is not stable at all and dont trust the job description. If you are looking for a long term job with a stable salary don’t apply this job. 

Nothing is professional at this office. And they are terminating people for reasons that they can not even apply for EI benefits during the time people are looking for jobs to support their daily life costs.

It's not a bad place to work for a couple of months until you find and move on to a better job. Most people here including managers are just here because they couldn't find a job within their field of expertise and needed money. 

There is very little transparency between the staff and the management team and they will inform you that you are fired a day before the layoff. You won't know how many hours you can work next week until late at night on Sunday. Often you will find out about an important announcement from your colleagues and not from the management team because they don't care. Not a stable job. 

The company is very cheap and will hire too many new staff for an urgent project and fire them all once it's done. There are more than 40 people on site but there is barely any place to sit at the cafeteria for lunch because they don't want to spend a single penny to buy more tables and chairs.

Depending on which languages you can speak the pay may be decent. English is at minimum wage, though. You may be able to work up to 44 hours a week.

Overall, not the best company to work for, but I've seen worse. As one of my colleagues who had worked here for years told me on my second day, the smarter you are, the sooner you will leave this place.

Worked there for a few months. This job has no future, just a temporary contract. The job has only one task. Listen to audio files and transcribing it. Over and over again (1500-2000 a day). No work-from-home.

Management:
Highly unprofessional management, keeps you in the dark at all times, avoids putting anything in writing, prefers verbal information only. It's scandalous.
There's an HR off-site but can only be reached by e-mail. Also not responsive at all. Management only looks at numbers and performance, no sympathy (note, this is a foreign company based in middle east/north Africa or so).

Workplace:
Lockers on a first come first served basis. Turnpike (with security cameras) to enter main office area. Open concept. Laptops locked to desk, no privacy. Windows frosted. Kitchen includes microwave, fridge, coffee machines and tables. The entire office has no work phones nor printers. There's no office culture. You come, you work, you go - or you're let go.

If you're looking for a long-term opportunity, look elsewhere!

I don’t know where to start or what to write that hasn’t already been written below. 
If you want to experience the most poorly managed company in the world, apply for a job and put in all your effort here. 
You shouldn’t even touch this company with a ten foot pole using a hazmat suit. It is a toxic workplace that will destroy any faith you have in the future. 
If you can’t avoid getting a job here and find yourself signing a “one year contract” with “benefits”, which is only valid for a week or two, you should be sure to apply for another job as fast as you can. If you as much as look at the manager in the wrong way you’ll be sent home without pay within the hour. 
The pay is good but you won’t work here long enough for it to matter. They change the rules and the bonus system every week to make sure that you don’t earn too much and the pay is always late and/or missing vacation pay, bonuses or that the hours are wrong. after they fired you for no reason they won’t provide ROE or force you into the office just enough so that you can’t apply for EI.

LXT AI Inc. operates in a manner that prioritizes securing contracts over the well-being of its employees. The company frequently engages in mass layoffs with no notice, demonstrating a callous disregard for the livelihoods of its workforce. Management is marked by a lack of transparency and communication, and the majority of management team members are unqualified for their positions and promoted based solely on being the first people employed with the company. Furthermore, the company has a history of payroll issues, including delayed or missing payments, and not giving everyone benefits or vacation pay. These practices reflect a clear disregard for the well-being of employees. My experience at LXT AI Inc. was deeply unsatisfying and I would strongly advise against considering this company as a viable employment option.

Don't look at this job as a long term opportunity. Pay is decent, but frankly that is overshadowed by the absolutely horrific management and communication and the fact that you could be laid off permanently or temporarily in the blink of an eye.

The higher ups do not understand your work concerns, nor do they want to. All they care about is that you work, work, work even if that gives you carpal tunnel.

A huge portion of the workforce got suddenly laid off because the contract with the client did not get renewed. You either got permanently terminated for an absolutely ridiculous reason that we never even heard of until December (yet our quarterly performance was conveniently based on it, hurting our chances for EI), you got temporarily laid off because there is no work, or you got limited hours per week because there is very little work left.

I don't know where to start but here's a selection of things you are going to experience if you work here.

Nobody really knows who's in charge here. There are a bunch of floor managers that's going to tell you completely diffrent things. It seems like they don't talk to each other. God forbid if you have done you're daily task and chat a little bit with the person next to you without a floor manager comes by.

They changed the bonus system and tried to make it even harder as soon as the realized that you where making money. They want you to sit at the computer and work every single minute you're there.

I got laid off due to poor utilization, but that was obviously something they said to everybody they fired (and they fired the majority of the office the same week). All this was without any type of warning or even a indication of thing where going bad. You're just a number here and whenever they are out of work you're gone the next day. 


I have 9 years of work experience and LXT is one of the worst companies to work for. Employee are not recognized for their work. They do not care about employee well being  no work life balance. 

People at management level are inexperienced and lots of favouritism. Company is not performing well and they laid off so many people without any notice. Salary are always delayed. No proper health and safety for employees. Chargers are all over the place which can lead to injury. No job security they can fire you anytime with invalid reasons. No communication no response when you have a query on your salary or other related HR matters. HR never get backs to you on time or they never reply to any emails.

The way the company operates makes me questions the ability and capabilities of management team.

Worked as an English transcriber during my time there. Base of $16/hr with incentives as you reach speed goals (they added and seem to be adding more restrictions on being eligible for bonuses though by the time I left). If you are eligible you can make $23/hr for brain-dead work. If you know a foreign language like Japanese or Korean your starting rate is higher. 

Team leads were supportive and worked with you to help you achieve these bonuses and were accommodating with schedule requests. While I was there there was minimal oversight but they seemed to be ramping it up when I left. 

Not really any office culture there though they tried to have mini-events celebrating holidays from different cultures. Mostly a solo job which can be a pro or con depending on the person.

Horrible work environment. The Management lack every kind of management skills, constantly standing behind your back and trying to find reasons to scream at you. Forget having any interactions with coworkers, even bathroom breaks will be monitored. 

It doesn't matter if you constantly hit the record quota, they will do anything they can to make life miserable for you.

They fired 50% of the office on the day. Instead of laying people off they made up an excuse of "bad performance" despite people hitting the record quota each day. I can not for the life of me understand why.

Pay is always late and not correct. The bonus system is changed every week.

I can honestly not stress this enough, do not under any circumstance work here.
