My experience at McNairn was a great learning experience. I would input the attendance information in the system and adjusted hours and absences. I would log and file grievances, WSIB claim information, hazard reports and incident reports. I learned a lot at McNairn from all the people that I worked with. The mangement were all friendly and the work environment was a positve one. The hardest part of the job was a co-worker leaving and the initial adjustment of the additional workload and the limited time that I had to do the work because I was only there two days a week. The most enjoyable part of the job was the fact that my boss gave me room to explore and learn on my own with minimal assistance.

I enjoyed working at McNairn and it's too bad it didn't work out.  They were int he middle of cost cutting and unfortunately, it happened to me.  The people are hard working and very friendly.  The work wasn't tremendously challenging, however what was challenging was implementing in a small company with limited resources.  That taught me to listen to the users and find very creative solutions.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Benefits, pay, some nice people.  Mostly HR and HIGH UP MANAGEMENT. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The heat in summer.  There are many ignorant employees and gossip.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A very diverse  cultural environment. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It's very monotonous in the bag department.

Nepotism runs rampant in there, harrassment as well. We're well paid, but treated poorly unless you are part of a selected few. Way too much favortism, management pays absolutely no attention. Policies are put in place and never followed. They'd do well with a change in management.  

Standing nonstop for 8 hours+, no workplace culture, the most enjoyable part of the job would probably have to be the packaging part itself, the hardest part would have to be lifting heavy boxes to build a pallet.

I really enjoyed my time working here. The atmosphere was amazing and my co-workers were very accepting of me. I'll definitely want to return next summer
