This company is a masterclass in poorly orchestrated chaos. Calls constantly come in, voicemails pile up, and equipment deliveries are tracked in notebooks like it’s 1987. Coordinators cover massive territories, tech support is on the road, and you end up patching calls for people  who are panic mode your basically answerable to eveyeone problems in the reception — it’s a full-on duck chase every day. 

Clients often need reassurance, especially if they’re not tech-savvy, but the system gives almost zero real-time updates. You spend your day firefighting, explaining, repeating ,and trying to keep the chaos from consuming you — and the pay doesn’t match the stress.

Honestly, this job teaches resilience and patience, but the systems are outdated, support is limited, and it’s easy to feel drained. If the company upgraded processes and properly supported staff, this could be a great place — until then they dont want to invest in sanity while people lifeline is oxygen, it’s an old-school stress machine that saves money or tries to by cutting corners!

A good company overall. I would  work for them  in a part-time capacity anytime.
The position was supposed to be part-time, however due to the illness of my coworker, within a couple weeks it turned into full-time, which I gladly wanted to do but not indefinitely. 
I found working in the warehouse to be difficult as it is very dusty and it was very difficult  on my breathing .  As a company  they were quite supportive but not often enough  or  available  at times when I really needed to get information.  But once you get a hold of someone they were awesome! There is a lot of driving throughout the peace region in all kinds of weather with this job, for the most part I enjoyed it however the weather can turn very bad quickly. Carrying up to 70 lb of oxygen equipment up and down icy stairways and through snow filled driveways was a definite challenge. Although we reserved the right to tell people we would come back once they got their driveway or walkway cleared, this is oxygen equipment, and my nursing background would not let me walk away.

A typical work day included paperwork for days. It's not paper-free. Phone calls, emails, correspondence between co-workers, drivers, and managers was stressful.  I learned to voice my concerns regarding staffing and have it be ignored. 
Management was okay. Management did change hands a few times and ultimately I think the right people were in those positions but there was a lack of feeling supported in my position. 
Workplace culture seemed very toxic. We were to be at our desks and not interact with our coworkers for more than a few minutes at a time. 
The hardest part of the job was not feeling supported with the management, not having enough staff to manage the workload. 
The most enjoyable part of the job was the clients. 

The people to whom you provide service are great. Day to day is busy but exciting; if healthcare is what you like but you prefer paramedical this is a good option. Unfortunately some days you will have to play salesperson - money is all your superiors care about. 

Management is chaotic, communication non-existent. The employee turnover rate is so high that every long term employee you speak to who isn't management will repeat like a broken record how incredible the company is. You will never hear this from newer employees, because they inevitably see how poorly managed it is. 

MedPro Respiratory Care Kelowna is a rewarding place to practice as a Respiratory Specialist and offers opportunity to practice valuable RRT skills. The core management team is very supportive and MedPro strongly  supports the RRT's effort to help patients in the community with their respiratory needs. 
I personally experienced lots of patient success with MedPro Respiratory Care and I am impressed by their drive, innovation and growth in the respiratory healthcare field  

Quick staff turn around leads to work being piled up on others, which leads to stress and burnout. Some managers were great but it is clear they are over worked as well. Extremely  understaffed at all locations and departments. Immensely under paid, doesn’t even meet the cost of living. Depressing moral and even the best employees feel exploited and end up leaving. There’s so much potential but the wrong immature women was running it. 

I learned a lot at MedPro Respiratory Care and enjoyed collaborating with the Respiratory Therapists and helping my clients. One of the favourite things about my job was meeting a person for their sleep test, seeing them tired and unwell, and then seeing them change through the CPAP therapy process into happier and healthier people. It is a busy environment, but I enjoyed that about my work. I was proud to be a part of a company with such hard-working and caring people.

Not a whole lot of team work. Everyone works for themselves.

Mornings are more relaxed but afternoons..... watch out. So extremely stressful.  People are discharged and you are go go go.  Plus most of the time you have no equipment so you are calling other offices in hopes that they have something to send you.

Good people, enjoyed time there. Alot of variety in work .
Helping others gives you satisfaction and not just a job.
In my position in the interior there is lots of travel over a wide area. On call abit stressful as you cover a large area with little backup. But company pays decent, and with overtime can make a decent living.
