Cons;

Management was slow to make decisions which sometimes led to missed opportunities and frustrated employees and partners. I questioned some of the procedures in place, some of them only seemed to create hurdles and were counter productive.

Company culture varied, some employees were very dedicated and had been around more than 15 years while others were the last to show and the first to leave. Office was pretty clique oriented. The 3 departments would usually stick amongst themselves.

**Work/Life balance was terrible.** no flexible work hours and every minute had to be made up, regardless of whether or not you worked late the day before or worked through your lunch.

There was an extremely high turn over rate, it was sometimes difficult to keep up with who was in a given role because it was always changing.

Pros;

Great location with lots of restaurant choices within walking distance.

People were nice, for the most part but there were a few that I would steer clear of.

Some employees seemed to excel and received multiple promotions. Although this was not the case for everyone it showed it was possible.

The co owner was very inspirational. She was very personally invested in creating quality programming and genuinely cared about improving peoples lives through quality exercise and she led by example.

Overall the company was ok. They had some serious shortcomings but at least they were taking baby steps to improve the culture. Kuddos to them for making the effort.

A typical day at work involves taking care numerous projects range from web to print to marketing materials. It's a busy environment, which usually leaves no time for breaks. Good place for a junior level creative professional to begin their career at.

The most enjoyable part of this job is the people and the team you work with. Many friendships were formed and last even after the job, and outside of the daily work time.

Merrithew is absolutely the worst environment to work in. I would not recommend merrithew as an employer to my worst enemy. The CEO is a joke and the COO is even worse (if you could imagine that). 

Good luck to anyone who works here- you will have no respect, no work/life balance and will dread waking up in the morning. 



This company has a lot of incentives. Paid vacations, monthly bonus, fair salary, relaxed environment. Management are pretty good here and the leadership of the department supervisors are top notch. 



The good, the bad, and the ugly. Merrithew definitely got it all. Still stuck in the past, the company doesn't want to modernize system. Good people in Welding, Carpentry, Assembly line, and QC. Retail is a ticking time bomb

Its good to work here, friendly staff and management.There was no work load and the employees are  taken care of I appreciate my agenxy for providing me with an opportunity to work here and i made great friends here as well.

Nice company to work  but no room for advancement. Promotion are available to HQ only.  People working at the warehouse are not appreciated neglected under value.

No room for improvement. Management  is a joke! They listen to the maintenance crew on what to do or not. Most workers act like boss even more the lead hand act like he own the company.

It's a god place to work if you are just starting off somewhere. The staff is very nice. Nothing too special about the job.There are some challenges only because of the various coordinators there.
