Every day I learn something new and there is always a rewarding challenge to tackle.  It's exciting to be a part of a growing, dynamic company that is looking continually forward to building and improving.   I work with many different teams and find that there is a mutual desire to contribute to success.  People are, for the most part, polite and respectful in this multi cultural work environment.  

We've seen changes in management during the past few years which also means a change in culture.  Keeping the traditional family feel has been a challenge but we see management working hard to try to maintain that while driving efficiencies.  

Hardest part is to keep up with the growth. Growth is a good thing but brings it's own challenges such has available work space and parking. 

Best part of the work day is being with such a great team of people that are proud of making a difference in the health and well-being of others.

I enjoyed working for Factors.  I like the 12 hours shifts and the 4 day weekends.  The owner cares for his employees and provides an amazing benefit package, RRSP contributions, yearly gifts and cheap vitamins to take care of your health.  
The training you receive, is like no other facility I've ever worked for.  Management and safety work hand in hand to make sure everyone is fully trained and comfortable in their positions.
The hardest part of the job is getting used to the 12 hour shifts but I really enjoy the extra days off each week.
Management adjusted their schedules to regularly check in with the well being of the night shifts & supervisors.  They support each other but also care about the well being of their specific departments.  
If someone is struggling with a personal problem, they take action and offer the services and support the benefits provide like EAP.
 

Working here has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me, both personally and professionally. From the very first day, I was made to feel welcome and part of a team that is not only talented but also supportive and collaborative. The work environment is positive and motivating, with colleagues who are always willing to share their knowledge and help each other grow. I particularly appreciated the opportunities I had to develop new skills, take on challenging projects, and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s goals. The leadership here fosters a culture of respect, innovation, and continuous improvement, which made coming to work every day something I looked forward to. I am truly grateful for the friendships I have built and the experiences I have gained during my time here. This has been a wonderful place to work, and I will carry these memories with me for years to come.



I absolutely loved working for natural factors. The management were very involved on the floor and never too far or too hard to hunt down when I required direction or permission to do tasks that I was unsure if they were a part of my job description. This made it easy to return to my work area rather than wasting time hunting the factory for them. Safety meetings every morning and every afternoon made me feel very confident and safe and comfortable in my work space and entering others' spaces because I knew that everyone was well educated and careful and I could move freely about the factory without feeling nervous or causing nervous vines for others.

I was a believer in advancement from within ones own ranks, till I worked here. The flaw of course is if the job is stacking racks or tightening bottle caps--this is not the place to get your management from. Mechanics? nope nobody has a clue using same gasket a hundred times... for them no problem just apply more torque at 150 while next to it are nylon washers that can only take 50... hmmmm they do not see a problem. Multiple work accidents are every day.
If you do not speak English and can not get a job any where else... guess it might be the place for you.

I work on the night shift, I learned how to work safely, and render my service effectively even under pressure. I learned to appreciate and communicate people with different race, ethnicity, cultural backgrounds and beliefs. The management gives much emphasis on Safety, SOP's, GMP, HACCP and work ethics and adheres to "NO BULLYING" policy.Every part of the job is challenging than hard and I enjoyed learning new aspects of the job everyday that I believe is part of growing and knowing what the culture the company wants to imply.

The management only look after themselves and the bottom line. They will cut corners to reduce costs, and work employees to the bone for as little pay as they can. Wage increases are laughable, and any complaint about any part of the work or facility is met with a "disciplinary meeting". Company policies are ridiculous. Workplace safety is minimal at best, and there is a policy of not allowing employees to speak to WorkSafe BC when they are on site. The work itself is easy, though tedious (and sometimes smelly), but the company is dead awful.

Most managers are good and professional. Especially my manager and Supervisors are awesome. They gave me opportunities to grow in my team. My co workers are very nice too. however, I saw a manager in other department who treats employees differently and doesn't care when employees are speaking their own languages in the production area and they are rude to new employees. Many new ones quit, but the manager doesn't care the problem, Just trying to protect the current employees. Factors already taught us about respect and discrimination but the manager doesn't care. Haha

Great for three day shifts, long hours (12), repetitive work that can affect your body (sign up for chiropractic services once benefits comes through.
Decent for short term goals, terrible for long term unless you have friends who can get you up in levels or position. 
Long story short, good time if your liked terrible once your not. Hard work doesn’t really mean much sadly
