Review:
During my time at NextStar Energy, I worked as an Electrical Quality & Inventory Associate (Pantos), where I was involved in inspecting electrical components, managing inventory records, and ensuring QA standards were consistently met. A typical day involved performing routine quality checks, updating tracking systems, and coordinating with both suppliers and internal teams.

The management was supportive and organized, with clear expectations and structured workflows. I appreciated the team-oriented culture, where communication and continuous improvement were valued. I learned a lot about ISO compliance, process documentation, and warehouse logistics, which has strengthened my technical and organizational skills.

The hardest part of the job was adapting quickly to evolving inventory systems and tight deadlines, but this also helped me improve my problem-solving skills. The most enjoyable part was being part of a dynamic team and contributing to the launch of a major energy project.

Overall, it was a rewarding and growth-focused experience that prepared me well for future roles in the manufacturing and electrical engineering industries.

Worked here for a short period. Experienced inconsistent communication, unclear expectations, and a management style that often felt reactive rather than supportive.

Concerns raised during employment were not always addressed in a meaningful way, and workplace expectations appeared to be applied inconsistently.

Some good coworkers, but overall not a positive experience. Constant employee rotation in a short amount of time.

Working for Nextstar was draining. No real guidelines, no real support, and the environment often felt like a highschool. There are many days where the work isn't rewarding, and the parameters of work keep changing. There is no structure to help new employees transition or is there enough training to prepare anyone for the roles required. Those who can do it aren't treated well, and feel chewed up and spat out. Be warned when applying here. 

12 hour shifts,  6am to 6pm vice versa, 
I'm one of the newer coherts to work on the floor in mixing .
 I'm hoping to advance to team leader one day and pass my knowledge onto the new recruits coming throughout the year. 
It's a great place to work and we are treated fairly and we definitely get adequate and specialized training for whatever department we end up working in.

What is the best part of working at the company?
TOXIC - I don't recommend leaving a solid job for this place. Toxicity goes from supervisor level all the way up to HR.

They don't care about you or anyone else but themselves.

Workers are great, management is horrible.

Try communicating with co workers who barely speak english

a new engineer that is jumping into this field to learn the industry. Apparently if you come with experience, somehow all the work gets dumped on you. Very difficult to get support from other teams.

I love working at NSE because I am getting the opportunity to shape and re-think what a work place should be like.  The people here are incredibly creative and thoughtful and I love the energy they bring each day!

It’s a amazing place to work especially when it come to being temperature controlled and very relaxed in terms of  demand of workers it seem very organized as well
