OGS Landscape

A typical day begins at 7 am Monday to Friday. Length of shift can vary from 10-14 hours daily depending on the crew and their location, or time and location of appointments.

Management expects you to be there daily with very little provision for personal or sick time. There is no overtime pay, no Stat holiday pay. Must show up to work regardless of weather and may be sent home if weather prevents work. May be on call to return part way through day without compensation during morning hours.

Very time demanding job leaving very little time for family or personal matters through the week.

A sense of accomplishment when a job comes together. A great deal of personal satisfaction which unfortunately is not recognized by management.

Worked here about 10 yrs and it's been great. Days can be long at times but the pay is worth it.  Lots of room to advance and givin regular reviews and bonuses. I have alost tripled in wages since I started and progressed multiple positions. If your not scared to work hard awsome place to work. Many skilled fun guys to work with and you'll always learn something new.

Had a blast snowplowing for them!  I had an opportunity to operate a snowplow and salter throughout two seasons working for them!  I met some new people and also had a letter of commendation sent to the employer from one of the contracts being taken care of for the season!

I've worked for OGS almost 2 years now after having applied via indeed website. 
Its a great place to work. I get to work with my hands outdoors with a wide array of tools and machinery. Great people on site and office along with great starting pay. Its a fantastic place to challenge yourself physically and have some fun while doing so.

Challenging and exciting construction projects day in and day out. Lots of internal advancement opportunities within the company. Great workplace culture on site. Good working relationships with designers, management and on site staff.

A great bunch of people all-around. A great company to work at no matter your experience as they teach you on the go or provide tips and tricks to make things easier. Professionalism and organization are key virtues for a successful company and OGS Landscape has these down pat.

OGS Landscape has a long history of being one of the best Landscape companies in the Durham region. Now with a fresh updated look, the vibe in the company is buzzing and it is a lot of fun to come to work. I have made some great friends here at OGS and honestly love what I do.

Good job during the summer, winter is another story. Hard work with plenty of  hours. Working environment is about what you'd expect from a private landscaping/ yard maintenance job.

This place wants to work you to the bone and pay you nada while the boss spends all of your money. Please stay away from them at ALL costs. Always being rushed and hire workers who do not know what the hay they are doing. Terrible company.
