OLG Casino

OLG casino was a decent place. The hours and pay and benefits were nice. I learned a lot about functions and how to get fast at what I do. But when it got really busy and everyone got stressed out and started yelling at each other that's what I didn't like. I also feel like they would not give me a chance to prove my skills.

I found it a good organization and good place to work with good leadership and flexible hours. The management and other managers were always willing to talk and discuss other ideas I might have. Generally a compromise solution was found


I enjoyed working for OLG and Gateway Casino.

I was able to take a lot of courses for customer service and dealing with change.

Great place for advancement. I started out as a part time cashier and worked my way up

The job pays well but it needs to.  Split days off, weekends, holidays and 24/7 shifts.  Hard to work with high volume, high $ transactions when sleep deprived with extremely high accuracy.

OLG was a good company to work for.  They offered incentives and encouragement to be your best at your job.  There was plenty of room for advancement.

Hours are not consistent. Wage is fair and benefits are great. People are friendly. No wage incentives. Moving up positions means moving down in shift standings. Mainly union operated.

Really enjoyed my experience with the conpany before privatization of the casinos happened. Lots of opportunities to move to different departments or work your way up in the company. Very fair to employees and great benefit packages available.

Great place to work. Work life balance is a ongoing issue. Coworker are sometimes not friendly to new employees and forms clicks. Wages are on the lower end. But for the most part it's a lot of fun.

Amazing job, love the staff and space we had to work in. Hours were perfect and the waves were great. The entire casino as a.while had an amazing team working and dedicated to keeping staff happy and in good spirits.

This is a tough place to work, there are so many rules and regulations it is overwhelming. Management is strict, but they have to be. High expectations are expected for all employees.
