Oceaneering

Was very displeased working for this company. Was offered a couple month contract work for offshore work. Wasn't given hardly any work at all as the logistics coordinator was very biased and always provided work to who she favored. Nepotism at its finest. Local shop staff are friendly, however do not be fooled they will cut you off when you are no longer of necessity to them. You can earn a reputation of being a excellent worker, however, sadly that is not enough.
For offshore work it was 12 hour days away from family and home and the pay was not high.

While the people on the shop floor and in the warehouse are good people to deal with day to day. Management encourages and actively takes part in "tattle tail or snitching" behaviour. They do have favourites and do not like to move personnel around, they would rather hire someone new to fill that role. Cost of living increases are a minimal

Great company to work for when I was there. Company treated me  well. Operated somewhat independant from larger shop group and more often was under specific manager direction to be assigned to global worksite for work troubleshoot or support to problematic jobs.

Absolutely poisonous work environment!  Canadian management team are an absolute joke.  Management are not respected by the staff or for any body else in the oil and as industry for that matter.

Nice place to work, guys are great to work with. Oceaneering is paying for Certs again. Month on month off is a good life balance. Seas can get bumpy, doesn’t matter time of day. Helicopter rides are long and uncomfortable.suits are very uncomfortable.

Oceaneering Canada is a very horribly ran division of oceaneering. They treat staff as disposable and pay poor wages. They give consistent work to friends or family, and use everyone else. 
Don't waste your time, apply elsewhere.

Fast Paced environment very interesting work. great group of people fair competitive wages.State of Art technology. Great teamwork with people offshore .

Open communication with onshore team. Invested in my advancement within the company. Provided clear plans and expectations. Offshore team welcoming and felt part of team. Lots of work if you want it. Recognized for good work.

Typical work day is to fix ROV and pilot. PMs  done every day for set schedule for weekly-monthly to bi yearly to yearly.

Challenging, interesting work environment.  Co-workers and management are friendly, accommodating and team oriented.  Oceaneering has a strong safety focused culture.
