Customer service with a smile. I've learned a lot along the way. These stores really care about the community of Regina. They want to make sure you and your family are healthy. Each management team is great at different locations. I have a young son and this family run company understands when your child is sick. The hardest part of this job is sometimes leaving. It's a great place to be so going home somedays is harder than others haha 
This job hands down helps you meet and help our local community. Easily the best part is just relating to our shoppers and maintaining that bond. I enjoy my job. I love helping people and I enjoy working with a company that has supported me over the years. 

A typical day is customer service; processing customer transactions; pricing & putting out product.  It is a fast paced environment so the days go super fast.  The best part of the job is feeling like you are helping people.  Customers come in with their issues or sometimes just to have someone to talk to.  Customers often say that you don't get that kind of customer service at most places anymore.   The management team are approachable & ready to help when they can.  If you need help they always take the time to explain.  Overall I love everything about my job.  I can see myself working here for a really long time.

I love my job!!  I have worked with this company for a few years now & can see myself here for many more.  A normal day consists of helping customers with their purchases, pricing & stocking shelves .  We have daily teachings which puts a fun spin on learning about the many products we carry.  There is room for advancement & they often hire within so it gives you something to work towards.  If you have an interest in health you would love it here.  The staff amongst the stores are always doing what they can to help each other.  Management always takes the time to listen even if it isn’t work related.  It really feels just like a big happy family.  

GM is a liar 
They will preach teamwork and tell you can come to them with any problem you have... But they say nobody ( even coworkers) will have your back .. Warehouse has to concern them selfs with deadlines while the stores can send in there orders whenever they feel like it, also the stores didn't have to be specific for the item they needed from the warehouse. They will overwork the staff to the point where people quit. Certain store mangers were not allowed to hire there own staff and multiple times staff had to jump from store to store. The staff and warehouse weren't allowed to socialize with each other. 

This position was fine, there was a lot of work to be done and they don't pay enough for everything that you're responsible for. Staff at stores were slow to accept recommendations and new guidelines. Management is extremely condescending and rude, to the point that I was scared to ask questions I thought they would consider "stupid". They provided an office space and decent parking, which made it easier as well. Owner is very understanding of needing a sick day, but other management is not. You really do a thousand things that are out of your job description and pay range. 

This used to be a great place to work. Upper management changed a few years ago and ruined everything. Amazing senior staff were treated very poorly and mentally abused. Upper management only cares about image and material things. Very poor business practices were implemented. Family was put into upper management with zero understanding of how to operate a business or how to treat people. I would never recommend working here.

I have been working here for a few years now & absolutely love it.  We have wonderful customers that you get to know by name.  It really feels like you are part of a team.  The management are always encouraging & get right in there to work alongside the employees.  You are constantly learning new things.  It is a busy store but the work load is fair.  I never have felt overworked.  Everyone just works together to get the tasks done.  I would recommend working here.

Very catty/gossipy workplace, didn't encourage me to want to socialize with management.

* ZERO job insurance if you get ill. For a Health Food Store that PREACHED it cared about the health of it's workers and customers... I was fired after falling ill for a week. 

Upper management is toxic. You will be punished for perceived slights or assumptions. Gossiping is part of the work culture. Staff will be blamed for things outside their control. Bad wages and little benefits.

For the most part, other staff were really enjoyable. The company hires nice people, but the staff turn over rate is high due to burn out and bad management.

DO NOT WORK HERE! You can find something better.

Lots of on the job learning opportunities about health food and various other products. Always filled with very friendly people and great if you enjoy customer service. A typical day included stocking shelves, helping customers and running the cash register.
