Old marina restaurant

This restauraunt is very collaborative, it is encouraged to work as a team with other servers and works well. The management is very nice and understanding, and the other employees are also amazing. This is definitely a summer hotspot with not a lot of shifts during the colder months. You get breaks depending on how long you've worked and there are many servers available for shifts so you usually don't have trouble getting a shift picked up if needed! There were always a lot of shifts available as well. Also, with the number of servers on, you usually stick to around 4-5 tables in your section so it isn't too overwhelming!

Working here was a very high paced experience that you had to know exactly what you were doing. You need to be able to keep pace with everything that is rung into the kitchen. Management was good and they always were understanding when you called in. Everyone who works there knows each other and get along like a large family. Timing and keeping track of the items you are responsible for making is the hardest part. People there are mostly very kind and supportive of you and your work.

Mostly time demands and unreasonable customers.

Excellent rapport between most  staff. Great work environment. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy, fast paced environment. Always something to do so the time goes by quickly.

I worked at the old marina for quite awhile and I enjoyed it just as much as I thought I would. I made a lot of great friends and learned a lot about the different elements of working in a restaurant and what it takes to be able to work in such a busy place. In the summer months it is extremely busy and it is constant movement no matter what your job in the restaurant is. It's a great place to work and great place to gain experience.

Very unorganized, very unsanitary the burgers are so big that they precook them and still raw in middle then sits in fridge then get cooked again. It's not legal to book meat twice. Bacteria will grow in the raw part before getting fully cooked.

Great spot to work, management is great and the owner is hands on and encouraging to staff. Always room for growth, fast pace place great for younger kids looking for work in the summer. Great work life balance.. Plus that view is amazing!

It was always lively with customers from early in the morning to late at night. The staff was quite friendly and felt like home, Kind of regret leaving it actually. 
Other than a few mishaps and my clumsiness it was a good starter job.

Couldnt recommend this place more to work at, amazing management, amazing money, amazing view.
It is a tip shared environment but trust me, it works out very well.
I'd give 6 stars if I could 

Everyone here is extremely friendly and makes you excited to come to work. It's a very family-friendly restaurant so it makes for a welcoming environment!

Great place to work all staff were friendly boss was great to work for, compassionate  towards staff and guest. The food and materials used to make meals was top quality
