Personally did not have a great experience with working as a packer. Doing the same relatively easy task for 8 hours to the monotonous drone of machinery behind hearing protection could be exactly what some are looking for, but I found it to be soul crushing and brain-rotting. It's practically negative stimulus. Some people thrive in that kind of environment but if you're like me and you need a little more, then this is probably not the place to work for you. The management however was very friendly and accomodating, and on the rare occasion I got to talk to my coworkers over the cacophony of the production floor, everbody was kind and truly a pleasure to be around.

You will most likely be looking for another job a couple weeks after you step through the door, along with the 9-10 other people that tried to fill the position. If you go to your manager with help for anything, especially how people treat each other in there, it will reach HR's ears and then you're screwed. What they want is somebody that'll do the job and shut up, that's it. Also considering how many people get fired during the probation period regardless of if they sit down and shut up, you better have prior experience with the machines and prior experience with being a punching bag.

I was only in my position for about three months, I found it very mentally stressful and quit when it became obvious that I did not possess the skills required. 
But for those who are excellent at cycle counting a 24 hour manufacturing facility, who can handle the stress that goes with that, Olivieri really does have a great team, and I have nothing bad to say about the company itself; I was just a bad fit for the position.

Management could kick you out any time without any warnings just to bring in their own connections for that same position. They would terminate you without giving you any solid reasons. Such a disappointing experience ever!!!!

I was hired on here through the staffing agency manpower they were very satisfied with my work performance as a temp worker and were quick to hire me on full-time how ever that's when the real nightmare begin your forced to do straight nights and pay union dues when your not even part of the Union for 3 working months. Very strict work environment poor management and extremely miserable workers.

I worked there when their parent company, Canada Bread, was still a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maple Leaf Foods. Maple Lear corporate culture was actually great with all kinds of job perks and benefits. Biggest downside was a problematic plant expansion of their Western manufacturing facility. Outside of the drastic effects that had on shuffling management I enjoyed the worked and loved the people I worked with!

an okay workplace, good for students who're looking for part-time job. Wouldve been great if the wage was a little higher since you are working in a cold environment and youre also handling cold products. however, most workers there are middle aged women and some shout at you whenever you're kindly asking them to repeat what theyre saying since it's loud in the warehouse.

Olivieri Foods is a supportive and team-oriented workplace with clear expectations for safety, quality, and productivity. Training and procedures are well organized, and communication between departments is strong. Overall, it’s a stable environment where employees can build skills and take pride in producing a quality product.

Detail to quality, a desire throughout the workplace too deliver great food to be enjoyed by all consumers. An atmosphere of accomplishment shared by all salary and non-salary employees. Great family feeling throughout the facility, a shared goal/vision to be #1 in the fresh pasta business.

Machine break down all the time. Supervisors love to say there  is no favorites but that's clearly a lie. You can be working hard while everyone is standing around and you would still get told to do something. Union and especially HR are an absolute useless! 
The only thing that made me stay was the pay and hours.
