OnX Enterprise Solutions

OnX has no real coherent business strategy or vision, most disjointed company I have ever worked at... Vendor financed sales mentality rather than true solution culture severely limiting growth of what could be a high growth company as all the solution capabilities are in place. Absence of coherent sales strategy and new shorted sighted OPEX reductions dictated by new Venture Capital (VC) majority ownership severely inhibiting growth outlook and manoeuvrability of some well intentioned sales managers.

Responsible to bring troubled project back to control within the scrum methodology
 	Managed and prioritized the backlog using JIRA to track stories, improvements, issues, bugs, sprint and burn down cart,  monitored team velocity, projects risks and RACI chart 
 	Managed and motivated pool of 8 resources from cross-functional product teams 
Projects:
 	Chrysler App Suite for Build and Price, Search New Inventory, Locate a Retailer, Build and Price on Mobile
Results: 
 	Coordinate the activities and resources to ensure the project is under control and resolved issues and risks

ONX has been sold and stripped of many assets by US based venture capital company. Company was sold a couple of times and bought back by founder then taken public and sold to VC. It did have an impressive digital agency and cloud  business units but no synergy between business units.

I have joined onx some 2 years ago, part of the Canadian Programs. Salary is low compared to others. There is no career pathing or career growth for hard working people except if you butter up senior management . Beware, they make a lot false promises on interview and once you are in, definitely they don't honor it.

There was no belief from Sr. Mgnt in growing the business where the industry was going.  They simply wanted to meet numbers in a easy manner, go after low hanging fruit.  Lots of drama and clickiness with existing employees.  
ONX has a terrible name in the industry and very hard to meet your numbers.

Very unprofessional. Constant harassment via online correspondence for job recruitment, only to ghost you the moment you don't respond back, when they want you to. I wouldn't recommend this place to people even seeking their first job out of school. They're that ridiculous. Don't bother sending them a resume, they don't read them. 

The job was fairly simple. Had a lot of downtime to do a variety of things. Read books, work on certifications, and anything to help your career. Had an amazing manager who encouraged personal growth. 

The hardest part of the job for me was the on-call rotation as I found it hard to wind down after work during my on call week.

Was able to work from home. Decent Salary. Executive Account Managers are treated like royalty rely on the rest of the company to support them and do very little work themselves.

Company is trying to do too much.  They operate in a Canadian manner that does not work for the USA.  They are trying but things fall thru the cracks.  Hard to tell what the companies core competency really is

It can be a productive work environment however the 24/7 expectations is taxing for what was to be a 9-5 role of salary without overtime pay.  Like most work environments there are good and toxic people. Those at the top take the credit while those beneath are kept there.
