Dispatch takes an interest in each drivers preferences and tries to give each the type of work they prefer.  The same goes for work hours, dispatch tries to give drivers what they are looking for in terms of start times, overtime and weekend work.  The best part of the job is the rate of pay, with overtime  being paid after 55 hours, and on the 6th day of work each week.  The overtime pay makes a huge difference in terms of take home pay.  The second best part of working at Onfreight is their emphasis on safety and the quality of their equipment.  All of their trucks and trailers are newer models, and are maintained  to the highest standards. 
The drivers are all very friendly and generally content with the work.  Most of the dispatchers are quite friendly as is everyone in management, including the owner.  Safety managers can sometimes be the most challenging people for drivers to deal with, but I have no difficulties with the safety manager at Onfreight, even the rare times that I have made mistakes.  
If you are thinking of changing companies, and if you consider yourself a truly professional driver (or aspire to be one), I suggest giving recruiting a call.  Write down any questions you might have, and be assured, you will get an honest and direct answer.

Don't bother with the 5 stars reviews ; they were all written by management and don't reflect the opinions of the average driver . Management are all going to blame the driver so if you ever work there don't agree to anything verbally and make sure to get things in writing and take pictures of the peoplenet communications between you and dispatch because if something goes wrong you as a driver will get blame for it . Most driver won't stay more than a few years and will get work somewhere else whenever they get a chance .

The safety manager, as he think that he knows everything and only he knows things

Friendly people including the owner,except a few who are very rude

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Once you are no more a fresher, you are in a good pace

Competitve and strong work ethics. We come in and are pushed to meet goals and are paid well when we acheive them. The drivers all know each other and we all help one another. When times were tough during the pandemic we were always taken care of. Onfreight is always striving for the best for all of their employees!  

Definitely won’t pay anywhere close to $1200-$2000/week for Long Haul.

Very aggressive management. Nowhere near the amount of work they promise. Barely made $800/week. The hiring process takes about 2-3 weeks before you even get behind the wheel to work. Not worth the time and effort for lack of proper pay.

I've worked at this organization for almost 8yrs and there has been a lot  of changes, all for the better.  Employees are treated fairly and with compassion.  If  you are in Driver, Dispatcher or Logistics Mananger you should definitely consider this company on the top of your list of contenders for employment.

Casual environment overall. Not for the lazy who only want 40 hours.

No loyalty, no respect, doesn't listen to drivers. Drivers preplan their trip, gets changed without notice. High turnovers on qualified, skilled drivers and dispatch. (always hiring) Overall a very frustrating experience, lacks professionalism. 
     

Nice trucks and proper maintenance on them ; but the management is full of people who are just puppets on a string and so afraid to rock the boat and voice their opinions that eventually most driver quit after a few years . You can find a lot better out there . Take your time finding a job ...
