Gear Specialist
•	McCoy gears and shafts project manager
•	Gear cutting (hobbing, shaping, shaving, broaching, rounding, chamfering, deburring and gear grinding) daily problem solving and technical supports (Go To Man)
•	Gear cutting tools (hobs, shapers, shaver and broaching tools) maintain, order, design, approval, classifications, optimization, inventory reduction and parallel items elimination 
•	New cutters design approval
•	Existing gear cutting tools improvements
•	Existing parts quality improvement
•	Continues Improvements including cost reduction, time saving, cutting tools life improvements by means of proper cutting tool feeds and speeds implementation (cutting condition improvement)
•	 Continues Connection  with customers to follow up shipped parts quality and delivery time and condition for potential  improvements possibilities 
•	Continues  Connection and cooperation with vendors to communicate daily Quality problems, technical supports, improvements and  also  maintain Quality Aspects 
•	Reverse engineering and ECN (s)
•	 New parts Launching  (process and cutter design)
•	Production gauges ordering and approval to release CMM capacity

The employees on the floor were great. It was hands down one of the best places to work... Until it wasn't. New management came in and gutted the culture. My entire office slowly went from five employees to just myself and they refused to replace those that were fired or retired. One of the leadership team members became very hostile and invited me outside (I can't make this stuff up!) And from that point on it was just a matter of time until I was forced into resigning from a position that I once loved. It's too bad, the place was fun to work at. Here's to hoping they get their culture and leadership team under control!



Ontario Drive & Gear is a great place to learn manufacturing and machine operation and of course all things related to gears. I have seen first hand the improvements the company has made in the last 3 years. The company is progressive when it comes to implementing new ideas and is usually open to change. It is not without its drawbacks however. The team leads are very good. They look out for you and are always willing to share knowledge. Management is fair and honest. Overall enjoyed my time at ODG.

80% people comes here for end there retirement life
10% people have there 2nd income and working here for timeless.
Remaining 10% works here to build carrier, low salary, 100% efficiency work. 
Making employees fool ever time by fake promises.
Smiles in face but no respect from management teams.

Privately owned. The company is investing in its infrastructure in order to achieve their stated goals. Enjoyed the full term of my contract.

Pay is poor in comparison to daily workload
No room for movement in this company

Fun group of people in other areas of the company
Only certain individuals advance in the company not the people who put in hard work every day

Very neat and clean and every thing is well organized. Very supportive and friendly environment. Very helpful staff.This company is very helpful when you are new and need to learn.

I can’t name a single person who is happy here

There is gender wage gap pay 
New hires earn more than those here for years
The work itself is mentally & physically harder than the pay is worth 


Poor management, they don't care about their worker's mental or physical health. I was put on a medical leave of absence from my job due to mental illness and was fired while on medical leave 7 days later which is illegal for an employer to do in ontario

great place hope it stays open. hope people with make the money they deserve really like the workers hope it turns into a cash making machine i really dont want to rate them i dont wannt do this
