As a subcontractor for Ontario Energy Group I was responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of all heating and cooling equipment in a residential setting. I maintain my own service truck equipped to any job application needed from me. I have Installed HRV, EAC, Humidifiers, Air condition systems, Furnaces, Carbon Filters, Water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, Navien boilers, Navien tank less water heaters, power vented and conventional water heaters, Duct smoke detectors and I am well versed with sheet metal. I have custom build transition pieces on site and redirected many supply runs to accommodate home renovations. I have decommissioned oil furnaces and dismantled these dinosaurs piece by piece. Furthermore, along with many oil to gas conversions, required duct maintenance or replacement was implemented. The majority of my experience gained was at this job placement.

Great job if it's for you. If you can be outdoors in all seasons and be okay with giving up all your free time to work towards a goal of making money than I would say try it out. It is not easy but it also isn't hard if you can the hang of it. You are just letting home owners know about the benefits to switching their HVAC units and if pitched right they will switch.

It was either a cold call or a door-knocking type of day everyday. The pay was great but it was around 14 hour shifts, 6 times per week. Co- workers were amazing and made everything seem easy.

My paycheck bounced three weeks in a row so I quit. Co workers were great, I still speak with a few of them often. Management was more interested in making a sale than providing safe equipment to install.

The members of the team are very encouraging throughout the entire day. They really try to support your work and motivate you to work harder and achieve more.

Worked at OEG for a month (to hold me over as I waited for school).. Eugene the owner yells at his staff. Very unprofessional lil office ran by 23 year Olds. . The place was a joke.
