Most days were a continuous stream of donations and hard work.

I learned a lot about customer service and interacting with different types of people.

The management at the job was serviceable at best, very few of the supervisors were informed on what we were doing and made rash decisions based on statistics, rather than the actual work.

The culture was manageable, the location was packed full of donations at all times, but the staff I worked with were great people with lots of bright ideas.

The hardest part of the job was the physical strain of pulling 800 pound carts filled to the brim with donations and other items. The job kept you working 8 hours at a time usually 3-4 days straight.

The job was hard work but it felt fulfilling, I felt like I made a difference everyday I went to work and that created a sense of achievement.

The Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy overall offered a friendly and comfortable wok environment - the co-workers were easy to get along with and the amenities were clean and well kept. The work required was straight forward. The calls made were cold calls, however, the script was simple and easy to render to the clients. The skills obtained from the job were organizational skills and time management. The hardest part of the job was the repetitiveness of the script which got tiring at times but the work environment as mentioned above made it a great experience.

I will never again work as a Telephone Representative. The job was absolutely awful the management was even worse and the rules they had there were impossible to follow. You would get write up for the dumbest thing like stretching while waiting for a call to come in or going to the bathroom if it took you longer then 2 minutes.

My job consisted of helping a patient with cerebral palsy. Everywhere from giving baths to meal preping and medicine preparing. In short my job was to help someone who couldnt help themselves and help their day go by smoothly and enjoyable. This job helped me more in terms of learning about myself and just in general appreciating what is given to me

I usually run the shift with daily operations. I dealth with drivers, telephone representatives and report to our Director of Logistics.

I love working with people and get along with my co-workers and with respect to each other

The staff at CP are very professional and very respectful of each other at the same time. People there are always happy and seldomly bring problems at home to work.

A flexible place to work, good schedule, no advancement, repetitive tasks, calling on phone for donations, sometimes you get bonuses.

nothing spectacular, not - for - profit sector, ok benefits, salary rather on the lower side, good hours, lunch, good atmosphere, great coworkers

these people will fight against you, management does not care about anyone but themselves and will stab you in your back no room for advancement within this company not a stable job they fire you when they feel like it

The now closed London branch fired an employee who refused to work with another co-worker who is a convicted pedo. The Manager claimed they jut refused to show up without disclosing WHY.
