Ontario Hydro is a great place to work, my duties include
forklift operations, warehouse material handler duties.
start shift by doing safety inspection of forklift
the day could start with unloading incoming freight
then inventory of the products and then put he material away in the warehouse
also would be my duties to pick orders and get them ready to be shipped.
Also would deliver products to customers with Ontario Hydro.

While I was able to utilize many skills I had from previous work I also had the opportunity to learn other skills such as computer administration, C.S.A. standards for parts manufacturing as well as quality improvement.

The Lambton Project was an early demonstration of sustainable development.

Working for Ontario Hydro was a rewarding experience, it was a temporary position which lasted approximately 9 months, I worked with the Nuclear Operators as one of their team in their day to day operations.

Helped me acquire and write for all my Engineers exams.

Its a great company to work for, but very toxic .
promotions are not easy to get unless you know the persons some managers were not fit for the job.They are brought as friends


People are very competant and have a genuine desire to help one another on large projects. Support is always available to EIT's. Great opportunities exist within the company if you are willing to put in the time and effort.

I hit the deck running but I gained a lot of important experience and skills. I was eventually laid off. It was a long time ago. Wish. I was still there.
