Good luck here if you do not consider yourself a skilled sales professional. 

Spent two and a half years here - the job is tough enough as is, in a super saturated market.  I qualified for multiple trips and placed in multiple top performer monthly contests.  The pay can be good if you are talented and can sell.  

If you want to be given opportunities based off your talent and performance then STAY AWAY from here.   

The most unfair part here is the Inside sales director has his group of favourites that will be given an exceptionally unfair amount of orphan renewal accounts (accounts where the inside and outside rep who originally signed them are no longer with the company).    This can take an average earner to a very high earner , and these people will be given all the recognition as being something special when they really are not. 

If you want to work to get better, self develop your skills, perform at a high level , and still watch others get the extra opportunities then you will be ok here. 

Worked at OWE for about 8 months but recently left because I received an offer in my field. Amazing work culture and the motivational material provided by the company is a little overwhelming at times. But you will not find it in any other company and this is one thing I do miss. Salary needs to be increased because living in downtown Toronto made it hard for me to save money. You can make a lot of commissions but it's really hard to book big customers. If sales is for you then this will be a great company but it was not for me. 

Recommendation to upper management - Inside salary should be more than the Outside salary because they make a lot more money on commissions than the Inside Team. The Inside Team is booking the initial meeting and should be compensated for it properly. If you increased it to $50,000 you will have a lot more people hitting their targets.

I unfortunately only ended up working there till Covid and had to move back to Belleville.... but I’ll tell you one thing, I was thriving working at OWE. I made a decent base salary + comision and also crazy bonuses I remember taking home 600+ cash bonus a week sometimes and also sometimes bonus was time off work (2 hour lunches etc) they really paid there employees well if you hustled and put effort into the company, honestly if I had a way to move back to toornto I would have returned to this job. Definitely highly recommend this company if you want to make a lot of money and are willing to hunt for the sales

Company is moving into the direction of continuous learning and ensuring that all employees have the opportunity to grow with the company - whether you are in Sales or in Operations or in Administration. A new emphasis on continous learning and ensuring that the the voices of the employees are heard by management. 

Highly stressful environment. If you'd like working for the Wizard of Oz  then this job is for you. The Green Curtain requires that you suspend disbelief in everything but the pursuit of money. The hardest part of the job is the 15 minute pep talks each morning, reflecting a culture of "sales as sport." The most enjoyable part of the job was gaining the trust of customers in a highly suspect industry.

High pressure, low pay. Lack of support from Management. Company is very disorganized. Lack of staffing in certain departments. Communication is poor. Not worth it.

The first two months were positive—great team energy and training. But I was let go quickly for not hitting appointment targets. Now I understand why they're always hiring—they bring people in and let them go just as fast. High-pressure, quota-driven role.
Consider offering grace period for new reps who show potential but may need a bit more time to ramp up.

good salary, great bonus structure, fun environment, qualified senior management team. Had an incredible time working here. Left only because of a better opportunity, otherwise i would have stayed.
