Family owned but not operated. The saving grace of this company is the co-workers. Good people work there. This little company grew up but it’s management leaves almost everything to be desired. To her credit, the owner is a brilliant scholar and exceptional public speaker whom I once respected for decades. Sadly she is completely useless at providing any type of feedback. I was there well over 2 years without a performance review or any ANY constructive feedback. Then suddenly, with zero warning or even the decency of a direct conversation with her ( I reported to her ) she has this discount HR recruiter advise me that my position has been terminated. I worked in Montreal, not the head office. The guy does this over the phone and actually waited until I left the office to call me at home, where I lived alone.  All quite unbelievable. Good thing he didn’t know the employment laws in Quebec and that math wasn’t his strong suit, so my severance was mildly adequate.

I briefly worked for this company and I have to say that it is a sweat shop. The workload is heavy, the pay is poor and minimal leadership. Work gets shuffled along and usually dumped on the the Recovery Facilitator/Medial Claims Admin/DMS. They keep changing the name of the role because the scope of the work expands immensely.
The staff turnover is pretty high, employees won't stay because it is such a toxic unhealthy environment.
People cry and stress about the workload and nobody cares, no-one helps. If you speak up, chances are you will be fired. The company fires employees for no reason...its a revolving door. I was amazed at the staff turnover durning my time there.

Don't be fooled this company is the worst!!

Organizational Solutions has a great work environment. The team approach is very supportive and I am pleased to be a part of the team focused on making a difference. The matrix environment provides a lot of resources to assist with onboarding and ongoing growth. They promote from within and have many opportunities for growth and development. There is a high accountability culture which is refreshing to see in this industry. There no-gossip policy is also refreshing, they take this very seriously and it helps create a very positive work environment. Working with people and clients all day long and making a difference is very rewarding. I would recommend OSI to everyone looking for a positive work environment with flexibility and accoutability.

This is a job that is set up for you to fail from Day 1. They have unimaginable caseload with very low number of employees. Also, the management plays favourite. If you are hard-working, you will be rewarded with more work. They add up mny administrative task on top of your original workload. Salary is too poor considering the workload. The management has no clue how to maintain equality among their employees.  Employee turnover rate is very high. Once people come here, most of them want to leave except for those who do not have other options. They push you upto your burning out limit. If you have opportunity to work elsewhere, do not even look at them. Run for your life.

A typical day at work involves evaluating medical information from medical professionals to identify eligibility for disability benefits. A lot of communication both on the computer and over the phone with clients, employees of clients, and medical offices. Learning to make decisions based on objective medical information and managing claims on client by client basis. Colleagues are always very helpful in providing advice and aid in case management when required. The company is an excellent culture to learn and grow in a positive environment and make great friends along the way. An awesome place to begin a career in health care or insurance and learn from very experienced professionals.

We are working in a highly supportive team environment. My coworkers are always ready for good collaboration and I know I can always rely on them for help and guidance. Management always recognizes our hard work and good performance. You will always feel appreciated, which is really motivating for all of us. The company has a strong purpose and vision and doesn’t hesitate to work on its goals. This is a well-organized company with leadership that knows how to run a successful business. Flexible benefit design and amazing salary. I highly recommend Organizational Solutions!

Poor training then thrown into the fire. Concept of being a good job quickly dashed by management and superiors belittling workers. Heavy workload. Work from home but hours are 10 hrs or more but paid for 8 hrs. Pile so much administration work that you can't possibly manage a claim properly. All about putting out an image that they are a good company for companies when in reality, no time to properly manage claims. All about getting worker back to work no matter what the injury. And not helping companies reduce their injuries and preventing injuries. If you make the workplace safer, people are less likely to get hurt. This company is horrible. 


This company is horrific. The staff turnover is unbelievable. The only people that continue to work there are millennials that still live at home and have no bills. 
Real professionals cannot survive on the salary.
If you are a young kid looking for a job, this might be the place to get your hand dirty and abused by your employer.
If you are vocal about your workload you are let fo. If you don't kiss up you are let go.  If you cannot maintain the quota you are let go. The environment is toxic, gossipy and stressful.
it's a family run business, which means that family and friends are in upper management and you will never rise to a management position.
If u do decide to work there, watch what you say and to who you say it to.

A lot of opportunity to grow and learn and become involved.  For those with a focus on career and advancement, their really is no ceiling, and all tools and opportunity to grow are provided..  As a matrix environment, people who are truly self-motivated, driven,and accountable, they do very well within the organization.  Self-management plays a huge role in success with flexible start and end times, manage your own breaks, and no manager looming behind your back.  The hardest part of the job for anyone coming in from old-tradition companies, is the fact that no one is micro-managing you.  The most enjoyable part is the growth; you can start out as a receptionist, and grow to be senior manager if you want it.

My experience at OSI has been great, there is a very supportive team environment. There is a strong get things done approach and solid standard operating procedures to guide our day. The Team Leads are very well trained, have tons of experience and always available to help. I would recommend OSI to anyone that is self directed. If you need a supervisor to tell you what to do this is likely not the best fit. The company is matrix which means everyone is involved and helping make sure the clients are well taken care of, which they are. The feedback from clients is great! I think they can feel the positive spirit and work ethic.
