The only reason there's even 1 star is due to the salary. Nobody wants to be there and nobody wants to speak up "against" management. People call in sick all the time but of course they can't be fired and im sure the manager is only waiting for a slip up backed by the Collective Agreement to fire you. The atmosphere has gotten worse since the "new" manager came on board last year. This call centre has to be THEE worst but since the pay is pretty darn good why not just call in sick about 30x a year? Having your nose browned will get you further than being leader. Place is dirty, stressful and managements does have your back. Be careful who you speak with because it'll get twisted and reported. This is only in regards to the call centre. Also, please look into management because this person shouldn't still be here.

I left my previous role as I was burning out after 5+ years of being super overworked and underpaid. I finally had enough and I left. The culture here is totally the opposite. Wonderful people, small organization so close knit team, everyone is super helpful, no micromanagement, very relaxed compared to my previous place of work. People who work here have been here more than 11 years plus and more. Some have been here 34 years. This speaks to what kind of place it is. Great salary pay and benefits. Good advancement opportunities but of course, not a very large organization so not as much as you would get in a very large workplace. However based on my experience large organizations are meat grinders, lots of work, never ending and no work life balance. Overall I am finally happy with where I work and do not foresee leaving ..pretty much ever.

When I first got hired at this job, I was very excited due to the high pay and thought I would love it just to end up hating it more than any jobs I've had in the past. Coworkers always talk behind each other's back, they're always gossiping. They will smile in your face and will talk badly about you when you have your back turned. The training SUCKS. There's no actual training, you get 2 shifts of shadowing and then you're on your own. Call centre is very small and the calls are nuts. The only ''good'' thing about working at this call centre is the pay but trust, there's a reason the pay is high. If you're considering working there, please reconsider.

Very professional workplace.
I worked in the Project Implementation section which dealt with building maintenance. Prepared scopes of work, specification, drawings, RFP's, building condition assessment reports, monitoring contractors, engineers and architects. Included was monitoring of change orders and payments to contractors.

 It was very rewarding work because we helped people who are at a stage in the life when they need a helping hand, thus providing them a safe home was paramount.

Pay is great, but not worth the micromanagement and generally apathetic treatment of tenants. Social housing bureaucracy facilitates this kind of culture, and staff regularly criminalized the various communities they worked within. All-white senior management determining the livelihoods of low-income POCs, with no cultural sensitivity training. Staff evidently do not live in the communities they work within, thus making ignorant and depraving comments about the very communities they claim to help.

Do NOT work here if you care about real social change. 

When you have more work - Time is fly
A lot of opportunities to team work ,learn for responsibility ,Look Forward of different knowledge,Collaborated with property managers Maintained good tenant service on public work .Coordinate work projects .More experience-more work. A lot of seniors tenant and they're so lonely.Stay positive it cooling tension down.

Great place to work, however the Housing Administrator's have a tough position (helping and dealing with tenant problems). However, management and co-workers are there to help with problematic tenants.
As long as you are able to obtain a permanent position, this is a 5-star place to work. Would go back any day.

Presenting projects to managers and facility
Conducting surveys over the telephone with tenants
Listening to tenants needs and concerns
Updating surveys onto computerized research tool and inputting survey data into Excel
Collecting information for group research projects
Interviewing tenants who speaks French.


The managers are very good and they are really there to help. One person was very good for training, unfortunately, he moves to another place. In general, a very good environment to work. Multicultural, nice work area with very good light. The company has excellent IT always ready to help if you have any issues with computers or internet services.

Surprisingly very good benefits and appropriate workload. lots of room for growth. Really had a good time while working there. the company is very true to its vision and values
