Outback Steakhouse

While working at Outback Steakhouse, i found that it was a very warm and welcoming environment where i could be myself and enjoy working with my other co-workers. Everyone was always on time and got their work accomplished to managements expectations. while there i learned how to cook new dishes and how to assemble different types of cutlery, our management was excellent because they were always behind everything we did 100% but would also show us right from wrong if it was needed. I never found any hard parts that came with the job, it was all simple and straight forward. What i loved most about the job was the food that they served.

There was a lot of variety and room for promotion within this business. 

I started as a busser, moved up to hostess, server, and did some work in the back of house. 

Management was great as I could confide in the management team for anything. 

Shifts were long some days and short some days. 

The hardest part of the job would be closing due to all of the duties as a server. 

The co-workers were helpful, genuine, and caring.

I worked at Outback for 8 months and it was the best job I’ve ever had. Managers were wonderful and I truly felt part of a family-like team. I wish I could’ve stayed at Outback, but I moved away for school. I highly recommend working at Outback to anyone who is looking for a job you’ll never forget! (In the most positive way) 

this was the first job i ever had and i loved it i started hosting and got promoted to serving as the years went on and i went to school it was getting hard to schedule my shifts around school and eventually the career i am in now most times management is very accommodating but sometimes they aren’t as easy going as you’d hope there are many many pros and cons about my experience there

Dinner shifts were always steady and busy.

I learned that you have to use your judgement when dealing with people, everyone is different.

Its hard to come by good Restaraunt management.

Great co workers! everyone was so friendly.

Hardest part of the job was always worrying you were forgetting something, stay confident.

I enjoy interacting with people and meeting new faces

Long hours, horrible scheduling, very unfair, aswell as management was stealing from the line cooks tip pool. Working for this company wasn't all that great the only good thing about it was the free food and looking at the hot servers

I really enjoy working here. The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes coming to work every day a great experience. On top of the positive social atmosphere, the working environment is highly efficient and well-organized. It’s the perfect balance of a supportive community and a productive workplace.

worked in the touist area of Niagara Falls, enjoyed working here. I became a certified trainer, and worked both front of house and back of house.

My time spent as a server at the Outback Steakhouse was enjoyable. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive. As for the work, it was fairly routine and predictable which reinforced job security.

Not very friendly management. Servers, hosts, bartenders etc had exceptional costumer service. Overall unorganized. Easy to get time off. Terrible tip out system.
