I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ovation. As their Western Canada presence grows, they will be a more desirable employer in Alberta and BC.  Currently they are not stable enough from a volume perspective to properly staff in the West.

They have plans to introduce benefits, which will also help attract good people.

Highly underpaying for the workload and stress
Poor balance between life and job work
Not willing to invest in training, supply work tools and facilities.
Over jeopardizing employees
Poor safety and job security
No advancement possibilities
Only interested in expansion and profits
No vision of the future

Although I was  there for less than a year, I find that the company is driven by their people. The leaders have the correct vision and with the right teams in place, operations can be smoother.

The culture of this company was great, the only issue I had was,  being the Site Manager for just under a year, it was hard for me to get recognized, although I had achieved the highest KPI's in the company's history.

The employees were nice but the job was very stressful and there was little to no benefits. Small company and therefore employees wearing many "hats".

I always try to learn more and train new people, also believe in team work which makes easy to achieve the company goal, the company always encourage all employees to grow.

A typical day at work. Same work different Day. Workplace culture is culture. the most enjoyable part of the job is my job. management mages the company.

This is the worst job ever be very careful with there greasy ways and horrible pay. Most days after YOU take your own taxes off your check your working for 8.00 a hr!!!

The company is fine. The staff was ok and working conditions were also ok. HOURS OF OPERATION WAS  GOOD quiet atmosphere at the most but overall my experience was good
