Terrible turn over rate. Place employs like 80 - 90 people and probably go through that many employees in a calendar year. Will be an easy place to find for your interview though. It has the big hiring sign up on the fence that stays up 365 days a year. Clueless managers, many that have never actually done any manufacturing work themselves on a shop floor. You are constantly micro managed. Every single job you do there has a set time and is tracked and you will be constantly hounded about your efficiency. This creates an extremely toxic environment between employees as everyone ends up just being out for themselves instead of doing what's right for the team. People not setting up jobs correctly, cutting or corners  or leaving jobs areas a complete mess because they have to "make their times". You are having to constantly decide between looking good on paper versus doing the right thing. Don't worry though. There is always someone watching you at Overlanders either standing behind you or on one of the cameras they have installed pointed at you. They don't pay enough for the BS you have to put up with. Glad to be out of there. 

Not a great place to work. Most of the senior staff on the floor are miserable and they will do everything in their power make you that way as well. Very high turnover. Every second of your day is monitored through job tracking and video cameras. Everything is based on personal efficiency which creates a competitive / hostile environment between employees which management loves. Very little training. They do like to tout about their "Journeyman" program which is basically just a made internal program they try to sell to new hires to make them feel like they are going to be earning some sort of transferable trade ticket. Spoiler alert, you won't be. You will be standing at a machine bending brackets or spotwelding 2 pieces of metal together for the next decade while a computer makes sure you are doing 1 part every 5 second and other employees try to sabotage your jobs so they can look good. You will do this until they have sucked every second of life out of you and spit you out. Then they will hire the next disposable person. They are hiring every day of the year for a reason. Good place to work if you like to be treated like cattle.

Overlanders is a great company that offers a great work/family/life balance. The team here works hard and seeks opportunity to lift and build one another up. You will not find better people to work with.
Overlanders is a growing company, which allows room for advancement. This is great starting place for someone who many not have any previous work experience, as all training is provided for entry level positions. The management team is extremely encouraging and they really want you to succeed within the company. I have always felt included and encouraged to speak my mind and be myself. The culture at Overlanders is by far the greatest asset. You can tell that they truly care about the happiness of their employees. It's a really relaxed and calm environment, even though the work we do can be fast paced

I really enjoy the friendly, care for one another type of atmosphere here at Overlanders. I have had two opportunities to advance within the company and have appropriate training and support to further my career. Management is very understanding when it comes to personal issues, or even work related issue to help resolve or point you in the right direction. Close to home and amazing work schedule are for sure an added bonus. And lastly, the benefits that come with working here are hard to beat.

Poor morale, terrible management, nothing is ever good enough no matter how hard you work. They openly tell employees everyone is replaceable but cant figure out why the turnover is so high and can never find enough people. Overall just a waste of time. This place has one contract that the previous owners obtained which makes up 3/4 of their work load. How they have managed to keep it so long is a miracle. If they ever do end up losing it 75 percent of the staff will be laid off over night. Do yourself a favour. Work somewhere that has a future. 


If you like being treated like a disposable piece of garbage this is the place for you. Revolving door of employees. 75 percent of the staff never gets to the point where they are fully trained because of the turn over. The other 25 percent lifers will do everything they can to throw you under the bus or screw you over. Lot of middle management bloat with people with "coordinator" in their job title but nobody knows what they actually do. For every one person doing a job you will have 3 telling them 3 different ways they should be doing it.

What an excellent company to work for, I had a temporary position with the company filling in for a position.  In a short few months I had learned so much and gained so many skills.  Full Training is provided as well as getting to take part in regular company  meetings and safety procedures that were being put into place. The people that work there are Friendly, helpful and compassionate towards the employees and their families. A fast paced  environment and always something new to learn made each work day interesting and pass by quickly.

A very rewarding company to work for. I really feel appreciated for my efforts. As long as you are willing to put in an honest day work this is the place to be. The office staff are great to work with. Lots of perks working for this company. The employee purchased share program is great. All the team members is what really makes this place stand out from other companies I worked for.
