PA Supermarche

I was a cashier at PA. I liked working there, but the big problem is that the salary is very low for all the work. Also, they keep advertising the employee discount when it is incredibly low (10%) so most employees just pay the full price for their groceries. There are no chairs behind the cash as well so you cannot seat during your shifts (even when there are no clients). On a more positive note, management is very nice.

Productive and fast-paced job environment, the day usually go by very fast, lots of customer service experience required. Staff is very friendly and management is very good as well.

usually as a cashier, we are suppose to prepare a deliveries and bills 
managers and other co-workers are super friendly and helping in nature
the most enjoyable thing is to meet different kinds of customers

they treat you like animals and have no respect for you they let all the good employees go and they are indifferent whether you stay or go. rude upper management

Most unprofessional market I've worked at its a joke. Good luck getting a raise. And you can't switch departments you have to quit and go work somewhere else if ur not happy or stay where you are. 


I met amazing friends there. It’s a very fast paced job, stressful at times. Long standing hours. discount on purchases. The schedule revolves around your availability

Customer service oriented with nice employer-employee-customer environment, my manager takes care of cashiers very much.problem-solving skills are highly involved.

MANAGEMENT WAS HELPFUL AND COOPERATIVE ,LEARNED ABOUT INVENTORY MANAGEMENT A LOT . CO-WORKERS ARE HELPFUL.

good people, good for general job, work hours can be flexible, i really liked working there while i was student, french is not a must for some positions.

I learnt how to serve different customers.

how to prepare ready to eat sandwiches,salads,clean my work space,how to work in a team.
