There's something called a first impression whenever you join a new place. At Paradox, it begins with introducing you to work hours that would require you to punch 8 and half hours every day with an ID card, delay by a minute and you don't get paid for that. You are not eligible for vacation for the first year of employment and god forbid if you work in the IT department, I imagine this might have been the state of the art in the year 2000.  
Management expects you to perform miracles and solve all the problems, the place can get so depressing, there's a smoking club where people gather every two hours or so to smoke, I suppose without any stimulants or your desperation to get a paycheck, it's impossible to work here.  
And you'll be fired any given moment, HR's are probably the worst kind in this entire building, as along you sip their cool-aid, you'll be fine, the minute you stop doing that, you'll be shown the door. The only question you have to ask yourself before applying here "are you really that desperate for a job?"

What hits you first at Paradox is how professional and human most of the leadership team is, starting from HR who delivers exceptional support in all situation, whether in the hiring process, training, health and safety, they are always top of the line professional to the Production, Marketing, supply chain and QC department who also show great knowledge of their respective tasks. The only negative aspect of Paradox is the upper management. Immature, control freak, obsessed, micromanagers without vision that will eventually lead this otherwise wonderful company to a disaster.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part about working at the company is the opportunity to take ownership of projects and see real impact. There’s room to contribute ideas, move quickly, and be involved in meaningful work rather than just executing tasks.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of managers, so there's some miscommunication at times

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's very good, a lot of cultural diversity.

Save for the work relation with Israel team, Paradox would be an awesome place to work.  
HR really supportive, they organize surprises for employees and create an awesome work environment.


Hardly no more money in buying supplies.
I had to always buy my own supplies.
Hardly could afford to buy any new equipment.
The company is in constant decline ever since I was there.
Management shoots down any ideas.
The company's decisions are taken from abroad.
Work/life balance was ok.
People were great.
Product development in constant decline.
Future uncertain.

I am working in R&D for many years. I enjoy the work place with the projects. I have the opportunity to travel and meet our international clients. I have the opportunity to see our products come to life. We receive training and work as team with different departments. We also have good benefits and work schedule.

Working with the R&D development is very enjoyable and educational. The sense of family is felt amongst most teams which makes it pleasant to work at Paradox.
Management does require lots of improvement due to their lack of understanding of the industry and the ability to make high level decisions.

I have been with Paradox for the last 14 years and never regret a single day. Paradox is a good place to work with interesting challenges, a nice team and a clear vision of the future. I would recommend Paradox to anyone.

Overall, it's a great company! They give me the chance to be team leader not so long after I was there because I worked hard and they believed in me.

They give advancement/change with a good salary!
