I have worked at Paz Fuels for quite some time.
I've seen a lot of the reviews mentioning management - there have been quite a bit of changes involving Managers as they have gone through plenty of them. 
We had a Manager who was too lenient with staff (staff were calling in sick multiple times a week, many policies being broken) and there were no repercussions which was unfair to staff who were working double and not receiving recognition. Then the next Manager was too hard and cold with most staff but lenient with others. This had caused an uproar with staff as they were used to a lenient Manager who allowed them to do whatever they wanted without repercussions.
As of right now there are many changes happening as there needs to be a proper balance between being strict and too lenient.
Gossip can occur especially with the amount of younger staff hired - however if you refuse to be a part of the drama and the gossip it's not a bad environment.
It's an easy job if you enjoy working with customers - if you can't handle having your mix of good customers with bad then it's probably not the best place for you to work.
Overall there are a lot of hard working staff who take pride in what they do - I think this place needs more employees who have the same view in order to make the culture even better. 
Days also go by quick as long as you keep busy.

Management treats employees poorly and consistently fails to provide raises, despite employees' loyalty. There is ongoing misinformation about the scheduling process; the company's claim that 90% of employees have a fixed schedule is inaccurate. Every month, 2-3 employees are either terminated or forced to leave because new employees are given shifts while long-term employees are neglected and criticized. The environment is mentally stressful, even though the physical demands are minimal.

New employees are offered higher pay than those who have been with the company longer, and raises are never given. The workplace is meant to be enjoyable, but the management has made it toxic. They lack trust in employees and frequently make threats about termination. If you call in sick, you may be removed from the schedule and threatened with dismissal.

The company receives positive customer reviews largely due to the efforts of its employees, but employee reviews reflect dissatisfaction. Avoid working here if you value a positive work environment and fair treatment.

I have worked here for a few years now, have seen many people come and go. We have amazing head management that deal with everything as it comes. We have been through a lot here, but all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. If you ever need help you just have to ask someone and they are more than willing to help you. Staff are very knowledgeable and help you walk through anything you need help with. It is a very good team environment. We have good benefits, an amazing car wash and cafe. Hardest part of the job here is covering peoples shifts if they call in sick. The most enjoyable is the staff, and how friendly they are. It has been good working here, and if you show your hard work and care there is always room for advancement. Working at Paz has brought me a wealth of knowledge and given me a lot of different work experiences.

Most of the employees are pretty great but management is terrible. No job security, expected to do tasks that you are not qualified for, supervisors don't know how to run the till, fill propane or manage the car wash but have no problem ordering you around from their desks. 
Can't ask for help from upper management as they don't know what they're doing. 
Long term employees were being fired to be replaced with new staff at cheaper pay. 
No opportunity for advancement. 
Moments of being so under-staffed that you were working 10+hour days without so much as a thank you from management. 
Poor training. You'll be left on till alone without knowing what to do. 

In summary: Good place to shop, horrible place to work.

some of management is great some came from the depths of h*ll… if you are just there for a pay cheque (even though they have lowered starting wage multiple times over the years ?? i had no idea that’s how cost of living works, very inventive !!) and not something you want to do for your life paz is great for that because you will be working cash for 7 years with minimal to no advancement.. zero appreciation for loyal employees hard working employees, clearly. new management has truly ruined this place and even regular customers asking where their favourite employees are, and choosing to take their business elsewhere for this reason. aside from that it is over all an easy job and great when you don’t consider who is running the place. coworker are the best, for the most part. 

Very high turnover rates at this job for many reasons - Upper Management lacks knowledge or care for staff - experienced employees all left due to a poor choice in management during the change over - Don't keep to promises ( ex:  management might say: "We will have a phone call to talk about the issues you want to resolve " - this phone call will not happen and the management will actively avoid addressing you to deal w issues - Scheduling needs are not met instead you will be scheduled during times you're not available then told that it's your responsibility to find coverage - would not recommend this job to anyone unless you are looking for an easy pay cheque and can put up with bad management and regular inconveniences 

The supervisors are so mean and don't respect you at all. Car wash is GARBAGE doesn't clean your car properly. Pumps have so many problems. Overheard from a employee they pay their employers to write good reviews. FREE DRINKS AND FOOD. Cafe doesn't even have a menu to let you know what they serve. Once your hired at a wage they won't give you any raise. Supervisors are always on their phone. No wifi for the customers when they even have a dine in. Cashiers are behind the counter like they look they are punished to stand for their whole shift. Try to treat this place so seriously but when you get hired you will understand this place is a joke. Not even a fun environment to be at.

DONT every work here I'm warning you now.... The whole job is a joke. The manager will lie through her teeth to get you to want to work there. She will tell you the shifts that you want and then give you the complete opposite shifts. Everyone complains about everyone. The workplace is always miserable.  If you're pregnant the manager lies and then fires you based on her lies. The manager complains about her own staff in front of other staff and customers. None of the staff working there is professional.  Nothing about Paz Fuels is professional. They also get you to handle the propane even if you are not properly certified or trained for it.

Working at Paz the past few years I’ve seen some ups and downs but we always keep moving forward and keep the work culture up! A few people have left us here and there and just like any job. We keep the customer service up and better than ever! It’s a friendly place to work and we all become like a little family always growing and expanding. I’ve learned so much here and have had many opportunities! All you need to do is show you’re willing to work and welcome your coworkers.

Paz Fuels has been a local staple for 2 decades and has grown immensely in the past several years. The staff are friendly as are the customers. Staff discounts are available as well as a benefit program after probationary period. Currently undergoing expansion and rebranding so there is lots of room for advanement as long as the proper amount of effort is put in. All in all is a great place to be if you enjoy the hussle and bussle of customer service.
