This School Division does not care about the children they care about there image.  The children are a number it saddens my heart.  No wonder most of the children don't listen. The parents dont listen to the children neither do most of the teachers if they did these kids wouldnt misbehave so much. They dont know what no means and they dont know what respect is. To bad parents your in for dire trouble in the future.  Spend quality time with them its not to late tell them you love them and teach them respect. That means respect and stick to your guns, in case you dont know what that means, be consistent
 Dont let anyone harm your child.  Get back to old values.  The School Division should stop letting parents push them arund policy is policy and dont let abusive teachers get away with it. There are a number.  Have someone seperate from the school division interview teachers who are hired especially male teachers.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Obviously depends on which school you work at. Overall PTSD is supportive with workers and responds quickly to any questions/concerns. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Obviously dependent on school and role. I was an EA which can be very stressful depending on the students. I highly recommend not working somewhere you will be placed with 1 student at all times. It’s a perfect way to burnout

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There can be quite a bit of drama in the school system but it’s always easy to find a few allies. I’m still close to past coworkers!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A nice less than  8-4. Only 30 minute lunch which isn’t great (as an EA). Obviously recess duty sucks in the winter.

during test, supervise, and make sure kids are not coping and answer questions.
lots of courses i have not had in high school were thought in the schools i worked at, while attending these classes i have learned a few things too.
there never been an actual manager with me while i was in class, but the review i have been given from the teachers was always positive.
i enjoyed working with kids at all ages and the staff was always nice and friendly.
i was sad leaving this job as i got attached to these kids, 
i still see these kids around and they always come to say hi.

To work in various schools you will need to be flexible. You will be working with staff and students, but this flexibility is mostly the result of the students. The workplace is enjoyable and you will usually have some downtime in the staffroom which is usually quiet. The hardest and enjoyable part of the job is the students. Although working with students can be difficult from time to time, but is always rewarding in the end.

What is the best part of working at the company?
HR staff is so prompt and accommodating! Overall experience was great!!! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Other than the travelling to quite distant schools, everything was okay!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very transparent and flexible with sub scheduling!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Full of exciting learning experiences and challenges

As I am an EA (sub), I get lots of experience from different school. Most of the time I get positive impression from the staff. I love the enviornment which feel me to work more. Everyday I expect to receive an assignment but now a days it is quite difficult to get full time job. Overall, I think it is a good platform as a carreer and I also expect to have better salary range from this division in considering the inflation rate in Canada.

Working for Pembina Trails was a wonderful opportunity to interact with many students and staff from all walks of life. Although challenging at times, It was a great experience being able to help and make a difference in the lives of many students, to see the smiles on their faces as their progress and goals were reached.
I considered myself honored to have had this work experience and met have many wonderful people along the way.

An excellent summer job for those who are looking for a fun simple summer job with good pay and great management. The people you work with are chipper and fun to work with. hardest part of the job is trying to get in touch with the managers sometimes so occasionally we have gotten a little lost but all in all great experience.

My time with Pembina trails is something I will cherish. The teachers and EAs at my home base were the most phenomenal group of people I ever met. The way they just jumped in to support other team members without judgement, was like nothing I have experienced before. It was like we all flowed as one! If one person was down, everyone stepped up. 

I worked casual being exposed to a variety of schools working
with very nice staff, very enjoyable assignments, very easy work
plus fitting in adjusting to new experiences. The schools were
extremely pleasant kids behaving well, good play activities outside, fun school environments & events.
