One of the worst nepotism, toxic, catty culture a company could have. STAY AWAY! The VP of accounting and CFO lead terribly by example, enabling an environment of bias and favoritism. Hard work goes unrecognized in this company unless you are related to a manager. The harder you work the more work you get. They make excuses as to why your salary should be low and why you did not get a raise or bonus that year. Relatives and friends are grossly overpaid and receive special privileges, while everyone else actually puts in the work. Most of the people brought in through nepotism do not have any credentials to do the work that they do, it is wild. People are allowed to bully, gossip, speak, and dress unprofessionally. The culture and most of the people make a joke of the company.  

This company is a good foot in the door to the Midstream side of the oil and gas industry but nothing more. 

Terrible management, no job security and you will be fired without warning, depending on the mood of the manager. How the head office hasn't raised any eyebrows is bizarre. 

There really is nothing like it. Get in and get out as fast as you can. They also delete their bad reviews.

no job security , management is so unprofessional. they keep on firing employees. no proper trainings, you be by yourself working after couple of days of training. Lead guys are so irresponsible and racist, they will put the blame on you when they commit mistakes. stay away from this company, this company is so cheap, you need to use your working gloves for a month before they issue a new one!

You work five days on then get five days off, but there's lots of overtime if you want it. 

Lots of talk about safety, lots of job observations by your leads, but the leads are fair. 

You switch your own railcars, you learn lots about switching, some people got to take track inspection course.

You can move up, but its not fast. 

No pention.

Learned a lot about pumps and loading railcars

12 hr shifts day and night shifts

Supervisors and managers were good

Culture improved a lot in the last two years, some negative employees were weeded out 

Hardest part of the job was working in all weather

Enjoyed the people I worked with

this is  not a good place to work.  if you are looking for a career? this place is a NO NO!! no place like this in oil industry! no job security! bad management! they already fired lots of people, without proper investigation! this company is so cheap! company truck on site are garbage! no heater, aircondition and a mess!

all transloaders are disposable. today you get hired tomorrow you get fired. lead guys are so lazy and racist, they just watching youtube all day long. act like they own the company. management are so heartless. theres no other company like this. don't have any security in your job.

Not a good company to work for management is a joke safety has no clue on there jobs they put the blame on outside companies if something happens on site they can't take any responsibility for anything they will lock out people off the property if anything happens what a joke this place is

I'm a control room operator, I started as a transloader and moved up to the control room in about two years. 

You can advance here if you want to put in the work. 

The facility, the management, the culture are all fine. 

Pay is good, benefits package could be better, but its fine.

Shifts are 12 hrs, transloading is only day shifts. 

Learn about different rail car types, how to handle dangerous good. 

Safety is important, you have to be able to follow procedures. 

Time goes by fast each day, the people you work with are easy to get along with.
