I packed online orders at one of the warehouses. You get your own packing station and literally just take the picked orders and... pack them. It was very straightforward and leaves little room for messing up. 

There was a lot of standing involved, so that was tiring in the beginning until I got used to it after a while. Of course, there were breaks and lunch breaks, so we weren't standing non-stop.

Advantages: you don't have to interact with people much if you're more of the shy type and you can work quietly. Disadvantages: you're standing all day to pack orders.

Management and coworkers were chill, and I was grateful that there were no issues with them since it was my first job. Management was also respectful if you declined working overtime on weekends (workdays were Mon-Fri), so I comfortable during my whole time there.

Honestly, I would have wanted to continue working there or to work there again, but they moved to another warehouse location.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It was the best job I ever had before they laid off the whole Canadian Division back in 2002. I loved the all the different accounts we had. It kept the job fresh and exciting. I also loved the people I worked with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful thing back in 2002 was handling the Roots account for the U.S winter Olympics. While fun, Roots didn't anticipate just how successful their winter merchandise would become leading to supply issues.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I can only respond to how it was back in 2000-2002.  Back then for me at least it was great and I miss those days.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Between 2000-2002 as a call center rep we were steady. Like any call center depending on the type of business there is always peak times.

I never worked in a warehouse before and PFS treats me very friendly, it never watches me how much work I do as long as I don't make mistakes. They make me feel very relaxed as there are work but no pressure on workers. People are very nice - from management to workers. I really love working there.

The work is pretty simple, you walk in to your desk and start taking customer calls/email. Managers are always around to help you. 

Some of the customers are really difficult to deal with so you kind of need a thick skin to do this job.

Pro:Is great environment and supervisor is ok. Very well professional office , great  management is great but is soso. Good opportunity as wear experience and easy work.    

Cons: Long seven day schedule and long hours and sometime employee will argue with you and no management  will do anything about it. Your feet may hurt form steel shoe form long hours  if your packer

A Fast, on going challenging  business environment where customer service and  client  account management plays a crucial role in the daily work activity.

Team work and  decsion making, problem solving are  some  of the essential  required skills  to be profeicient  in this  role.

TL's are slow and unhelpful and get mad at you when you ask from a quick response
Employment is terminated within a days notice
TL's dont know anything themselves
Warehouse tends to make so many stupid mistakes that CSR has to apologize for


Good place to work at only complaint is being laid off because they don’t want to provide their workers with benefits so they rather just offer temporary positions and rehire new people often

Love working for this company, right now it is work from home which is amazing. Training was in person and paid, and all managers and team leads are extremely helpful. A typical day at work is logging in, answering customers, and logging out of the computer at the end of the day.

Enjoyed working there for 2 months. The pay was good for the type of work we were doing. It was light packing. We got 1 hour break which was split into 2 half hour breaks. If you are ok with walking and standing for a long time this place is good
