This company takes advantage of university students and high turnover to pay minimum wage for a job that typically goes over $20/hour and deals with a lot of sensitive information. This contributed to them lacking many supervisors and middle management that stuck around. When they offered me a higher position, it was with technically lower pay than I was already getting (barely above minimum wage). They were just trying to have more control overs peoples hours and wanted to guarantee someone would be there on the weekends. Some of the supervisors were nice, upper management is super disconnected from the actual operations, and kept a significant amount of money while paying the entry level jobs bare minimum. Was never given a raise in the years I worked there despite learning to cover for THREE separate other jobs. Pay does not come close to reflecting the responsibilities of the job. 

It's a great place to start your career but that's it.  No one is appreciated and favorites are picked to do the bulk of the work.  Excellent way to gain experience and learn if someone is willing to teach, although this is rarely the case.  Terrible, if any, training program.  Management is nice unless something goes wrong and then everyone turns on each other and points fingers so they don't get in trouble.  Management is ridiculously unorganized and demands respect instead of trying to earn it.  The pay is garbage and the work they get will eventually reflect what they pay because no one can live off the wage they offer.  Sadly, people will continue to work here because the job market it awful and experience is needed, but until they begin appreciating their workers no one will enjoy working here or want to bend over backwards for them.  There is job security but no room for advancement.  I worked here for over 4 years and never got a raise.

- 9-5 routine workplace
- 3 months of HORRIBLE  training from other technicians that 1. show you something once without letting you do it yourself 2. cannot teach and 3. cannot explain, and then you're expected to do it on your own with no supervision and if its not perfect, management gets mad

- You're trained one way from one person but if its not the way of the manager its wrong and you get yelled at by them and not to mention talked about in their own language to others in the workplace. 

- pay was HORRIBLE  for the amount of work you're actually doing, benefits were good though (i.e paid sick days, vacation)

- EXTREMELY HIGH turnover rate. (hire anyone with no experience and if they're not good, they're fired within 3 months or they end up quitting)

- best part of the job was the sometimes free food and snacks in the lunchroom 

- Actually feel sorry for the people that have been there for 5 years or more

A typical day is dynamic and collaborative, focused on ensuring secure and efficient operations. I’ve gained strong experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and leadership. Management is supportive and forward-thinking, with a positive workplace culture. The most enjoyable part is problem-solving and teamwork, while the fast-paced environment can be challenging but rewarding.

Management installed dozens of cameras in St Charles and threatened to fire people who they see smiling  (because they "cant" be talking about work if they are smiling). We lost over 200 people in two years and we only have around 35 full time employees here. On 3 different occasions, entire departments walked out on the same day (Pharmacy, QA and Sub-Investigators). Management flies in from Toronto and literally screams at employees in front of everyone  (they even scream at the Doctors). Morale is minus 1 on a scale of 1-10 and I would be astonished if they aren't shut down by the FDA or go belly up as the pharmaceutical industry knows how they operate.

Overall it was bitter experience working with this company finally they did not care even when I was under treatment for one of the cardiac ailment and eventually I have to quit with out getting the service benefits of (9 years).
management gets busy in dogfight for promotions and other gains without caring much about company and about the work ethics mistreats and abuse subordinate staff for personal reasons and gains.
overall no show of humanity and compassion in this company and it is in a country where we are so compassionate, diverse and care for humanity.

sample prep for analysis, keeping documentation of drugs in house.  Calibration of pipettes and other equipments.  Review of SOPs.  I learned  a lot.  How important documentation is.  How important it is to be accurate but fast paced.  The workplace was very enjoyable because everyone was willing to help one another.  The hardest part of the job was when there were deadlines to be met, but were met because of the determination of all staff.  The most enjoyable part was knowing that we all had each others back and were willing to help each other out

A typical day at work would be very busy, requires extreme attention and precautions. I have learned quiet a lot working in Pharma Medica i develop strong skills at working at with limited time performing venipunctures and processing samples, patient care and multitasking.
The hardest part of the job was not being able to take a break even when working for 12hrs, really heavy not rotating on a 24hr schedule, the work load was very extreme,not being able to take any time off.
The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting and meeting new people

It was my co-op honorary job placement. The administrative management is excellent.It’s a place for proper methodical training. I was a medical lab assistant technician and and I appreciate their discipline, guidance, cooperation and guidance. The concern is they should pay for coop  job even it is minimum. As a medical research institute their performance is very good 

very poor management. They don't even know how to invite their staff to company events such as Christmas party. On their Christmas party, they always put some staffs on off-day and some others on work. So the people who are off-work have to go to managers and ask them to give them a few hours of work on that date, so they can come and join the Christmas party. They don't treat with the subjects fairly as well.
