Working at Pizza Nova can be fun for people who aren't in school and are just looking for a quick buck. However, although this job is basically just sitting, it is always busy. So you must work quickly.There isn't any room for growth except a $0.25 increase once in your hourly salary. I wouldn't  recommend this job for anyone who likes growth or has a very active life outside of work. This job is very demanding when it comes to how many hours you work. At least 24 hours is required per week and shifts usually start at around 4pm or 5pm. The company is very strict with who works at a certain time but is very lenient with shifts being swapped. This job is fun and is a learning experience but the hours and the minimal tolerance with sick/personal days makes the job dreadful.

Got hired for an at home position and ended up staying there for months. When they initially told me id only be there for 4-6 weeks. Management sucks and everyone is on a power trip. I had a manager yell at me for something MINOR when I have heard people on the phone speak to customers worse and get away with it. They're selective on who they favour. There is a no smoking sign in front the door yet people still smoke right by the door. This place stinks of cigarettes because literally everyone smokes. At least twice a month they hire at least 10 people... that in itself should tell you something about working for pizza nova as an operator. The hardest part of the job was dealing with a creep manager who would never stop looking at me and it sucked because I couldnt say anything.

everyday Id have to go in early to check and see  if had to do prep or pull dough after id have to start making slices worked through lunch rush and dinner rush bout 9-10 hours a day. what I learned was time management, customer service , inventory and multi tasking. my co workers ive worked with quite abit ive seen many drivers and the cooks I worked with  4 other guys never really fought much but we were like an well oiled machine. hardest part of the job was salty customers who would yell and make some lie to get free food and if u couldn't find any records of their order they tried to make it seem like it was ur fault. the most enjoyable part of the job was the food and smell love eating pizza and love walking to work and when u get in smell of fresh pizza

I worked a store a store close to woodbine station in Toronto. I trained for a week, they didn’t pay any training fee. After started working, every one discriminated me because I am new member to the store. Every one yelling at me even they make mistakes and they make me feel their fault is my fault. It’s a very stressful place and I rarely make some mistakes, but always gotten a lot of discrimination. Sooner I realized it is not happens only me every person who is new to the store.

As an at-home order taker you MUST work weekend and any holiday you enjoy.  Mandatory.  They sell you hype about how much you will make.  It is commission and most call are for 10$ pizzas so you are lucky if you make minimum wage.  You work at the call center for a few months training, and it will seem like you will make money until you get home.  While at the call center I witnessed them train 10 to 20 new employees every few weeks,  The more operators there are, the less calls you get at home but that is not their problem.  Any large orders I got were usually change by someone after I placed them so I did not get the commission on them.  They changed my shift to a longer one and I said I could not handle a longer shift and I was told that was not her problem.

The mangers are horrible they do not value their staff constantly making people work on days they aren't scheduled and then give penalties for not attending that shift. The general manager is the only one thats understanding about anything. The staff besides mangers are very friendly and the workers are very polite and easy to talk to. I recommend not to work here and to find other employment or not employed at all. The only benefit is weekly pay
when you're sick you have to bring in a doctors note which cost $20 to prove to managers you were actually sick when in reality getting a doctors note is not difficult sick or not. And on Caribbana you have to bring in a stool test to show you were actually sick if you want the day off.

As I was new in Canada, It was challenging for me to deal with customers. The only thing I was taught was to make customer happy at any cost.
Christmas eve was an unforgettable day when manager turned only two oven on because he thought people already bought enough food. He was expecting 20 orders but we got 70 and we finished them without any complaint. That day I learned a lot that how he hold customers for wait by talking to them and by givinng free drinks.

Enjoyable part of job was free time when our manager used to tell lot of jokes.

Check the store inventory, look around to see store looks good, check drivers/ staff schedules, make sure pizza table / boxes/and other stuff are ready to serve other customers perfectly

Working at Pizza Nova was a fun experience. I was able to develop my communication skills since I was in contact with people at all times. In order to offer a good customer service, you needed to know how to persuade the clients into buying the specials or even to get products that they did not want in the first place. Furthermore, in order to succeed you needed to be fast and multitask, sometimes serving up to 4 clients at the same time when it was too busy, and still have time to create some sort of conversation and make the client feel satisfy with their order.

• Professionally handle 100+ customer service complaints and queries 
• Manage store concerns about customer complaints, credits/discounts received, special instructions or directions on customer bills and invalid/declined credit cards
• Accurately perform fast mathematical calculations
• Effectively communicate in a timely manner with District Managers, customers, stores and other staff members to solve escalated concerns 
• Monitor in house and external operator calls and activity, providing constructive feedback 
• Maintain confidential customer information (credit card numbers, personal information, etc)
